If you woke up tomorrow and the internet was gone, what would you think?
    what would you do?

Tbh, I have nothing online I'm particularly invested in....So I'd probably just go outside and enjoy the day...Though, the days are getting colder here, so that's dependant.
I think I'd secretly actually be pretty happy.

Internet is the new addiction in this time because it becomes a part of our life. We can say that it is a habit and when you stop the habit you used to do, you feel that you miss something. But if we have no choice, we will change and adopt a new way of life. At the end, internet is just one of many ways that simplify our life.

If the internet was gone tomorrow I would have nothing really to do as to me the internet is pretty much everything. The internet takes up all of the spare time I have though out the day. After a while I would probably get over the fact they is no internet but it would take along time.

If the internet is gone today. I think the world itself is doomed. Imaging no communication but door to door knocking, no fax machines, no printers, no PC games, no airports, no rail stations, no electricity, but just lamp. Oh the internet has affected me and I think if it's gone I rather be gone too and always expect me back some day.

If the internet was gone tomorrow, I think my husband would be happy because he always complains about how the internet divides my attentions. He said when I wake up I grab my phone first to see if I have any messages on Facebook. But for me the internet is life, I can see and chat with my relatives through social media, research things and I can buy conveniently online. So if the Internet is gone I think all the things will become hard in terms of communication, earning extra money, shopping, research etc.

I'd have a large but not critically necessary chunk of my life removed. Of course it means becoming better at what do since I can't occasionally use the web as a crutch, but at the same time it would impact business adversely. It's one of the drawbacks of being highly reliant on social media advertising.

Overall, though, life wouldn't be that bad. More time and energy for personal growth.

I'd have a meltdown if the Internet was gone tomorrow. It's my means of staying connected to my boyfriend and the rest of my friends. It's also my medium for most of my hobbies, for staying informed, for earning extra money, and countless other valid needs. The 'Net is the means of how the world is run and how people stay informed and connected. While some Luddites may fantasize about it going away, that's not going to happen.

I completely agree with this. I use the internet for all sorts of things. Would it probably be good for me if the internet disappeared for a couple of hours each day? Probably. But I couldn't deal with it being gone.

Have you guys ever seen the episode of South Park when the internet just disappears? It's season twelve, episode six, if you're interested. I find it hilarious and a pretty accurate description of how I'd be if that ever happened.
