Christopher Nolan is a British-American film director, write and producer. He is known for directing and writing acclaimed films such as Memento (2000), the remake Insomnia (2002), the film adaptation The Prestige (2006), Inception (2010) and rebooting the Batman film franchise.

His latest film, Dunkirk has been receiving some rave reviews with some critics going as far as to crown it the best film of 2017.What is your favorite movie directed or produced by this great filmmaker ?

Aww you took all of the good one's. I believe Christopher Nolan is known more for his awards more so than his movie roles.
though when i come to think of him i get a very vague depiction of batman.
which doesn't have much of an speaking role, Also you stated most of his well known films
the best of the ones you speak of would be batman. which may i say ,need be an over statement.
compared to his worst, which i believe to be inception.

Nolan is a great director there's no denying it, but I think he still has a problem with its scripts, since he gives away way too much exposition. That's why my favorite movie of his is Memento (2000), which was told in a very original way so the audience would be as lost as the main character played by Guy Ritchie.

I also enjoyed quite a lot Dunkirk, I think it's his best movie since Inception and The Dark Knight, so check it out if you haven't!

Christopher nolan is without a doubt one of the best directors we have around. His storylines are not only innovative but as well as intellectually thrilling. One only has to watch Interstellar to understand this. It is difficult to pick one film as a favourite given that so many of his movies are fantastic but if I had to pick one it would be Inception. I have to admit ,though, I have not yet watched Dunkirk so that title is up for contention.

I haven't watched all of his movies, and all that I've seen are standouts in the film industry. My top two are cliches, - Inception and The Dark Knight, but if I have to pick, it would be the latter. Despite both movies having more than enough action, The Dark Knight is Batman - something far more deeply ingrained and imprinted in our collective consciousness than a dream within dreams within dreams. Within dreams.

Batman does give a good deal of mental stimulation too. Despite not having 6 inch claws, a thirst for blood or a complicated life based on lunar changes, the Joker turns out to be one of the purest characterizations of evil, ever. Evil not because of a sad backstory but just because it is ones nature. It's one of the few villains without a story about how he to turned bad.

Inception is great, but The Dark Knight tops it with ease.

I watched almost all of the movies he made, and without a doubt, I think The Prestige is the best one.

He is one of my favourite movie directors. His most of the movies always have something which we never expect. Like the other user said above you already took the name of his best movies. I would vote inception for my favourite movie. That movie was just beyond awesome with my favourite actor Leonardo DiCaprio who just took this movie to the whole new level.
