I truly believe that music is the soul's food. The fact that words accompanied by sound make the heart feel like it's in another realm away from one's current reality, that's what music is. A different world. There is freedom to feel, exist as another person through music and at the end of the day, when the world is halted by a stop button to a playlist, a person gets to come out of that sad face feeling much better and re-energized. So much can be said but at the of the day, it's that which is felt that has the power to change a person and the world at large. That's why I believe that apart from good food, music is the next big thing that brings people from all walks of life together.

Music is one of the few things that can affect us emotionally. It is a stimulus that never intended to work that way but it is being like that. The beat and rhythm can reach deep inside us, making us feel happy. Music is helping our brain, especially our hypothalamus is affected by the stimulus, making it release endorphin to shift our mood from gloomy to happy.

Music is also used in therapy, especially for mentally illed patients. Psychologist uses music as an alternative to drug relaxant. So for me, music really can help us change our mood from sad to glad.

Musics is not only the remedy musics have some magics to change you from one mood to another, I myself use musics to fight depressions and loneliness feelings, And yes I believe music is a remedy for sadness because whenever I feel sad all I have to do is to listen to my favorite rock playlist and sing them out loud then after some minutes I forget that I have been feeling sad.

It can be. Honestly, music can either be the remedy to my feeling sad or can be the thing that triggers the sadness itself. Music is unbelievably powerful at influencing one's mood and it has happened many times that i go from sad and depressed while listening to gloomy music, then immediately become elated and full of life as soon as Pharell Williams' 'Happy' comes on.

Yeah, they are. I've really tested it several times and it worked for me. I listen to songs that are inspiring and motivating especially those Don Moen songs.

Sound and light are the most fundamental aspects of creation.

Music, provided you choose the right kind, can be immensely beneficial, if not completely remove your sadness.

Listening to a top 100 compilation of musical snippets enables you to browse through quickly. Once you find what you want you can just listen to the full version of that song or composition.

That being sad, we often remain sad because we want to. Being able to let go and be happy completely surprises and shocks us (the heavily conditioned body-mind complex) so much that we're fearful of what greater things we can or are, by the realization of our own immense power, obliged to do.

When we are in the sad moments yes music is the remedy especially listening funny music. Listening love songs would just increase our sadness but I like to hear it because it teaches a lesson upon listening every lyrics of the song. Although it touches pain in our hearts but it also makes you to be strong enough to overcome sadness and live life to the full.

Yes definitely music alters our moods. Mind,Music,Motivation,Mind - its a closed loop system. Our mind creates the music and listens to that music which creates motivation to mind. Thus Music is the remedy for our feelings and our mood can be altered by Music. Always try listening to cheerful , binding , inspirational music which will alter our day to day to thoughts and rive us in positive direction.

Well, music can psyche our emotions beyond any reasonable doubt. But being a remedy in sad moments will depend on the type of music. If I am sad and then I turn on a sad song, it would definitely make me cry the more, worsening my mood.

The trick here is just to choose a music that portrays the kind of psychological level you would like to operate in. If I am sad, I will definitely go for a dance music that will get me to my feet in no time and hence, help me to forget my worries. That's the magic of music.

Well to me as far as am concerned, music can be the remedy when faced with sad moments because it can change the way we feel when listening to it. Come to think of it,why do all those artists sing their song, its because they have some feelings but I can't tell whether good or bad feelings but all I know is that they sing for so many reasons.

To my own thinking I would say that every music has it own meaning and while listening to some music, you will find yourself in another world , it totally changes the way I feel while listening to it. For me I don't normally listen to music unless am in a bad mood and I believe that if I listen to music, it will change the mood to a little better one.

Music on it's special power also has the ability to change our mindset, but not all of us. Music is also a means of expressing our feelings, i mean the feelings we have for other people. So whenever I listen to music it makes me believe that it can be a remedy when faced with sad moments.

Yes it is. Music has this power to touch our heart in any moment. It has the ability to understand us, to reach us in every moment of our lives. When we are happy, we play danceable music. When we are sad, we play slow and heartfelt tones and even when we are angry, we tend to play loud music. It is like music speaks to us directly, like every lines in it is for us, speaking to us. And when it does, we cannot help but listen.

Yes it is a remedy. That moment when you feel low, heartbroken and stressed music always has its way of easing your mind. It helps forget all that's happening even if it's for a moment.
