I'm a big kid at heart and having two girls is even better. Growing up I loved singing all the songs from classic Disney movies. Pocahontas was one of my favorites but there is always one that stands out. I can watch and sing along to that movie any day. The Lion King will always be my top favorite Disney soundtracks.

My all-time favorite soundtrack to a movie is Garden State soundtrack. I found it when I was in 10th grade of high school. I loved the movie so much that I had to come to the conclusion that the soundtrack had something to do with it. At the time, all I listened to was hip hop and r&b... mostly mainstream stuff you'd hear on the radio. When I finally searched it up, I loved how different it was. It opened me up to new genres of music. It also really shined a light on how shitty the music I was listening to was. Of course, I had to listen to the music in the closet, but I eventually was able to share it with my friends, they loved it.

My favourite soundtrack from a Disney movie has to be from Ariel. I've always loved the movie since I was young and I loved to sing along to the songs. The songs are so up beat and fun! Some of them are even a bit funny. To this day it always puts a smile on my face to hear the songs from Ariel!

    Hi there Chrystal18

I love the Lion King soundtrack. The music is so vibrant. I don't listen to it much, but when I think of all the movies, the vibrant sounds of Africa come to mind.

I am a huge fan of Disney movies. I love all their movies except their songs. They do make good songs but it is not that appealing to me. Then came the song "Let it Go". This song hits the spot on every angle. It was so good and catchy that it made me just love it. The soundtrack of the movie Frozen is an inspiring song for me as well because the message is so beautiful. By far this is the only Disney theme song that I still know the title an its lyrics.

    My favorites:

    Mulan,
    Pocahontas.
    Frozen.

But my forever favorite would have to be the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack. The songs from there made my childhood and will never get old for me. Particularly the song 'Stories' from the direct-to-DVD Christmas sequel.

I love colors of the wind! Really love the message of the song and the melody plus, I always thought John Smith was so charming, even though the movie has lots of historical and cultural issues. Also, the song "How could I make a man out of you?" from Mulan was my jam when I was in primary school.

I must say I love the soundtrack of Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid.
When I was young, my mother used to play the whole soundtrack of Beauty and the Beast when she is cleaning the house. I usually help her and sing along with the songs. Even Gaston's adlibs, I was able to memorized it. It really help me to enhance my singing voice. I even sang a song from the soundtrack to my grade school talent show.
Little Mermaid's soundtrack is very endearing to me. When I was young , I already knew the real story of what happen to the mermaid. It was a very sad story even though it's way different from the Disney version. I really felt that the mermaid just wants pure happiness and just wants to be really part of the world of the guy she really loves, but sometimes what we really want doesn't happen all the time.

"Kiss The Girl" from Little Mermaid! I love the song and I think Colbie Callait made a cover of it on youtube. I guess I was a romantic even in my younger years. Haha. Also, "I Won't Say I'm in Love" from Hercules. I love Megara's lazy, casual attitude.

I love Moana's soundtrack. I personally love How Far I'll go and the An Innocent Warrior. Moana is one of my favourite Disney films because it teaches you to go and do things even if you're afraid of them.

If you haven't watched any Disney movie, you definitely missed half of your childhood! I am always a huge fan of Disney movies. I used to dress like the princesses, drooled over every handsome prince/male protagonist, and have even memorized couple of songs from them. Although, I must say my favorite Disney soundtrack includes (but not limited to) the following: 1. Moana; 2. Tangled; 3. Mulan; 4. Beauty and the Beast; 4. Tarzan; 5. and Frozen.

I agree with rosey143. The movie Moana definitely brought a different taste in the world of Disney princesses. Personally I love How far I'll go. It is very deep and encouraging. Personally I completely fell in love with it.

My favorite soundtrack is 'Let it go' from the disney movie 'Frozen'.The song expresses how 'Queen Elsa' rejoices once she gets to realize that she can use her magical powers without any fear and restrictions. The song is very soothing and pleasant. It also expresses the sense of freedom that the queen exhibits. This song is very close to my heart.I love it.

I've been in love with Disney songs and I can list every single song I adore. Though, the one which is striking to anyone of us is the song REFLECTION. Wouldn't you agree? Every single line of that song makes my heart pounds into bits. It seems like it's talking to me. The song is about me. Are we not wearing masks in our lives? Hiding who we truly are because we're afraid to be judged and what the society will say about us? You can fool the world, but you cannot fool yourself.

The soundtrack of Mulan, particularly, Reflection by Lea Salonga. It really touches my heart and it makes me think all the time. It reminds me to love myself more and remember that we are own individuality. We are unique, we are gifted. And unless we learn how to appreciate who are, we can never be happy and content.
