    This issue on sabbath day has been disturbing me for quite some time now.The exact issue is,when is the day that we are supposed to rest?
    For the Muslims ,they go to mosque on Friday, Seventh Day Adventist they go on Saturday, and the rest of the Christians go on Sunday.
    If you ask one why they rest on that day,they give you valid reasons and you tend to believe them all.This makes me more and more confused.

    The seventh day is Saturday which is the Sabbath and day of rest. I believe it is Saturday because if you read the book of John chapter 20 verse 1 it says that, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb on the first day of the week where she found the stone had been removed from the entrance of the tomb. The first day of the week according to the Bible is Sunday making the seventh day of the week, Saturday.

    if we talk the Sabbath then we must return to the early teaching that is on Saturday that started from Friday night precisely at 6 pm to Saturday night because the Jewish calendar that day started the night instead of starting the morning as we have so far.

    The Sabbath Day starts on sunset and ends on sunset the following day.

    Those days you mentioned above didn't exist during creation and came into recently with the Gregorian calendar.This means that a day of rest is defined as the seventh day that is if you work for six days rest on the seventh whatever day it is.
