We all have a pet in our house mostly a dog or a cat or it could be both. But which one do you like most?

I personally choose dogs and I have five of them at home. They are so cute and adorable. I like to play fecth with them and spend more time playing and walking them outside. They do not just entertain me with their clumsy stunts but they also guard our house at night. I love dogs because they are friendly, loyal, and cuddly.

Personally, I do not like cats; I prefer dogs because of their great and lovely friendship with man. I would not even want to keep cats at home, I do not know why. I cannot even rightly guess the reason. Dogs are very protective and loyal in nature especially to the owners. A well-trained dog is always security conscious and understands the owner.

We have a lovely dog, which is familiar with every family member at home. This dog can even make you wonder how dogs think.

I don't like cats either. I think they're boring. Dogs are definitely man's best friend. Dogs show an unconditional love that is truly wonderful. They're very in tune with the "vibes". My dog always knows when I'm upset, even if we're on opposite ends of the house, and comes and finds me. Cats just don't seem to care. At least my cats never did.

I feel like cats are very boring too. They don't tend to do much. Dogs, like you said, show unconditional love to anyone and everyone, and their loyalty is absolutely heartwarming. I have never owned either a dog or cat but from my experiences with family member's pets the cats always seem to be cold towards you and not care for your presence, but the dogs run up to you and greet you happily. Can't wait to get a dog in the future!

We are a dog lover family. We have a lot of Shih tzu. And we are not into cats. Yes, we thought they are boring compare to the dogs, they are always alive and really shows their love to their owners. Dogs are very stress relievers, once we got home, they really approach us in the outside, you can see their excitement. I still looking forward to get more dogs!

    Definitely depends on your situation.

Cats are fantastic if you have a small house/apartment and if you don’t have a lot of spare time and/or if you’re out the house quite often. They are low energy and don’t require any training. Cats are also happy in their own company.

Dogs (depending on the size of it) require more space and more attention. They need training, they are high maintenance, require a lot of exercise and cost significantly more to keep.

They both love attention, cuddles and make great companions.

I’m a dog person so will always choose dogs as my favourite, I feel it’s more rewarding owning a dog than a cat, but everyone is different!

I like dogs instead of cats because I actually own a dog. A white shepherd.
It is great to have a dog, because you dont feel alone when you are "alone"(no persons in house). You also can play with him , can ride the bike with him, you can sleep with him. It is great to have a dog.

I''m definitely a dog lover! I did not care much about pets nor animals in general before, but after we had Zarek, our extremely protective and loving terrier, I had a change of heart. He has become one of the reasons I became excited going home from work or school, because of the happiness he displays whenever we do. I mean, he would jump at me, hug my foot, lick my hands, and wouldn't leave my side for about an hour. My family loves me a lot, but the kind of love he gives is the perfect epitome of unconditional.

I'm not much into cats just like you. I used to be because they don't lick me, unlike what dogs usually do, which was a big issue for me back then. About a month ago, my sister wanted to add a cat in our family, and since we have Zarek already, I tried to research about the ways on how cats and dogs can be friends, or if its possible. Through that, I realized that having cats won't work for me. Whereas dogs are into loyalty, they're into selfishness. They don't see humans as boss or family, but as someone they own. They also have the tendency to be big brats, and I don't think I can take that at all. These are just my opinion though, and I respect those who believe otherwise.

I guess I'll represent the crazy cat ladies of the world here. Haha

I love dogs too, but I prefer cats. I adopt cats from the street or a shelter. I've had many in my life, but currently, I only have two. Beans and Mischka.

They aren't exactly cold creatures and they're pretty loyal in their own silly way. Did you know that cats would hunt and bring their hunt to you if they think that you can't hunt your own food? I know, it's not exactly the most pleasant thought to find a dead bird on your bed in the morning, but they are pretty amazing creatures in their own instinctive way.

My cat doesn't always come to me when I want to cuddle, but when I'm sick, Beans would always curl in a ball next to me when I sleep. He wakes me up in the morning; for his own personal benefit, of course. Not complaining though. Alarm clocks have snooze buttons that I tend to abuse.

My mom's cat is pretty cold to everyone except for her. Mom travels a lot and you'd be wrong to think there'd be anyone who misses Mom more than her cat Hanna. She literally meows all day looking for mom and won't leave her room. If that ain't loyalty, I don't know what is.

I am a dog person through and through. I like their looks, their personalities, and their behavior. I love all dogs but prefer big dogs. If someone offered me a million dollars never to have another dog, I’d probably turn it down. And I wouldn’t part with my current dog for any money, unless I was somehow rendered unable to care for her.

Cats, on the other hand, I like. I have loved individual cats, and would happily have a pet cat as long as I had a dog as well, but I don’t need to have one in my life.

In my favorite-animal hierarchy, it’s dogs first, horses second, other animals third. I’m quite partial to domestic rats and would as soon have a pair of those as a cat.

I like Cats than Dog. We know they are both super loving but cats smell better, they are more independent, and have amazing personalities I can leave it alone all day. Weekend trip when you have a cat? No pet sitter required!

I'm always choosing dogs. Aside from being a man's best friend they can also easily to teach some daily routines in our home. They can be dependable if we teach them in their younger age. Dogs are also smart, I have three Tzi Shuh in my home they always see to it that my bed is clean every time I woke up. They also give me the feeling of security and the meaning of unselfish love. My dogs also give me companionship every time I run and walk in our village or town every weekend. Dogs can also mimic your feelings, they tend to act based on your mood.

I prefer dogs by far. I find them to be strong and adorable at the same time. They are very protective of their owner and that makes me feel safe. Plus nothing beats a mans bestfriend.

I've been blessed to have 2 wonderful dogs for so long, I don't know how to be without them. My new puppy is fully part of the family and they get along great now so my experience with 2 bully breeds has been pretty awesome.

My dogs all get along with each other. They play together, sleep together, eat side-by-side, etc. They defend each other and help each other. Introducing a new dog to my dogs has never been a problem for me. Maybe I am just a natural with dogs, or more likely, my dogs are just super awesome If you have any concerns about introducing a new dog to your dog, then please get some help exprerienced dog person.

I have both a dog and a cat but dogs are more my style. I feed and care for both pets but the cat lives his own life and seldom interacts with the family. I realize that is not unusual for a cat but big part of having a pet is to enjoy their company. The dog loves everyone in the family and wants to be with us all the time. I think that affection from a pet is a fair exchange for food and shelter. Cats just don't seem to care.

I am someone who doesn't really hate any animal (including cat and dog). However, I have certain preferences.

When it comes to a dog and a cat, I would always prefer cat. Why? Because, cats tend to be less noisy and are easier to maintain. Dogs often attack strangers; there is no such problem with cats (normally).

I don't hate dogs and I believe dogs are amazing creatures. But, cats are better for me.

I really love dogs. Based on my experience, dogs are very protective of the owner, and they are so sweet.

I used to have a dog before, his name is Conan but unexpectedly he died. I got him when he was sick until he recovers. We spent so much time together. I cut his hair, trim his nails, bring him to the vet, and carry him around. That is why I still miss him until now.

I grew up in a house with cats for a pet as a child. I had very limited experience with dogs. Now, as an adult, we have both a cat and a dog in the house. I love having both of them around, but in the long run, I think I prefer cats.

Dogs are so much more needy, whereas cats are more independent. Dogs need to be walked and always need interaction with their people. Cats, at least the ones I've owned, generally don't really care if you're around until it suits them, like at meal times and for litter changes. You can leave a cat at home when you go on holiday, and just have a neighbor come over daily to feed and water them and they will still be semi-indifferent when you return. A dog needs a lot from a person who is looking after them if you go away. Either that, or you need to find a reputable kennel.

While I love my dog, and will be terribly sad when he is gone, I know for a fact that I'm not going to miss the work that goes into owning a dog.

I prefer cats. why? I have a pet cat! I've had her for quite some time, some years. about 5 maybe? I've had one back before I moved to another state, so probably cats all the way.

Cats any time, I personally have a pet cat and I love it. Not only are cats more hygienic but they also know how to behave. I don't need to potty train a cat, unlike a dog which will give you a hard time potty training.

Cats will also scare away rodents and other unwanted reptiles in the house which is a plus for me.

Cats are also cheaper to maintain compared to a dog.
