My favorite movie of all time is the Transporter 2. It is an action/thriller movie that came out in 2005. I like the fast paced fighting scenes, explosions, and the acting was flawless. I also love the actors in this movie (e.g., Jason Statham, Kate Nauta). The action scenes were perfect and realistic and Jason Statham is my favorite actor.

One of my all time favorite movie is The Sound of Music. Julie Andrews is simply good at that movie. It is also an eye opener to everyone on what happen during those times.

I love Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. It's not that I don't like the other two movies of lord of the ring, but this one is absolutely packed with emotion, drama, and finality. You know it's the last one, so everything must end here. So much is going on - battles happening, from Pelennor Field (EPIC), to Osgiliath, to the battle at the Black Gate; you've got the further character development of Denethor and Faramir and Pippin and Merry; you have Legolas, Aragorn and Gimli recruiting the dead men of Dunharrow; the reforging of Anduril; the scary scenes in Shelob's lair, where Gollum shows that he's not in it for good anymore; and the final ascent of Mt. Doom. that's pretty much where all the epicness and drama converge, I'm literally on the edge of my seat every time. I love seeing Sam and Frodo's friendship. I love Sam, he's such a loyal and true friend, even when his friend turns away from him! In short I could watch Return of the King over and over and never get tired of it. I always see something new. my favorite character is Frodo, but in extremely close second is Sam.

Also, Have you seen the extended editions of this movies? They add a lot to the story. The extended edition of Return of the King is epic!

My all time favourite movie is The Pursuit of Happyness. The plot of the movie is about a young father and his struggle through life while he continually looks out for the happiness which kinds of eludes him always. At first life hits him hard in the face with some really cruel situations where he's tested constantly but eventually life again gets back on track and through his brave efforts the protagonist is able to find the little part of life in between daily chores which is called the "Happyness".

My favourite movie of all time is a 1994 drama film Shawshank Redemption.
It stars one of my favourite actors Morgan Freeman together with Tim Robbins who is sentenced to two years in prison for killing his wife and lover. Everyone thinks he is guilty so he ends up in prison where he adapts and helps out the officers with their taxes.
This film was just amazing, the brilliance and intelligence in it was so intriguing to the point that I have watched it over ten times and I can again as It gets interesting every time.

You are asking for one so I'll give my favorite silent film:

Metropolis (1927) - I like it more than The Passion of Joan of Arc and Battleship Potemkin combined. The most ambitious movie released in its time. To even think that it is doable is nuts. To actually pull it off is beyond me. I cry with awe every time I imagine the workload of Fritz Lang during the making of this epic.

Ha! Let me see... I not only have one favorite movie but four namely, Titanic, The Notebook, The Best of Me and The Fault in Our Stars. The Notebook has a happy ending while the other three have a sad ending. All of these movies are of the drama genre. It seems I am kind of a drama guy.

My favorite movie is The Princess Bride. It has everything in it: romance, adventure, comedy, and drama. It has great lessons about verifying facts before accepting them as truth, believing in the people you love, and fighting for what you believe in. Good overcomes evil as Wesley fights back from "almost dead" to saving Buttercup from the evil prince. The prince, who is somewhat of a bully throughout the movie is exposed as a coward and conspirator. True love wins. Plus, the movie is funny. "Anybody want a peanut?"

As an avid movie watcher this is the one question i've found truly hard to answer. You see the matrix and you think that's the one, but then you see inglorious bastards, the accountant, gone girl, wolf of wall street and the list becomes endless.

I've learnt not to watch with "looking for my favourite" in mind but to just enjoy each good movie in its uniqueness.

For me, it is ,,Legends of the fall''. I have watched this movie many, many times. And I always want to watch it again. It brings such a powerful emotions to me...
This movie has everything that one great movie needs... Lovely music, beautiful nature scenes, great storyline, really good actors and acting... The storytelling of the movie is also great...
What I personally find amazing in the movie, is that connection between man and wild, in which I believe, and which I admire.
I am highly recommending everyone to watch this movie!

The Middle Earth Series, or also known as the combination of Lord of the Rings Trilogy and The Hobbit Trilogy, holds a special place in my heart. Though it's not a single movie, the series of movies makes up a whole meaningful story.

There are a lot of things that I really want to share here. Firstly, the Hobbits and the Hobbiton, ever since I watched Lord of the Rings, I always dreams of living in a hole in the ground. It could be weird but Hobbits are known to live simple lives. Their simplicity inspires me to someday, be away from the bustling life of the city and live a happy life. Secondly, the friendship, throughout the journey, the hobbits who partake on a life-changing mission didn't forget the importance of being there for each other. Their mission was so complex yet, they, themselves, are what make our hearts feel warm. Thirdly, the appearance doesn't make up the totality of a person. Each character in the Middle Earth Series has a distinct personality. Whether it's the villain, the hobbits, or the elves who look gentle in appearance, they always have something people don't know of. In real life, we must not underestimate a person, he may be small, but he could be something bigger. A person could be so sweet in her physical appearance, but she could be hiding something hideous. Whatever there is, we should always remember that we have to know the people around us before judging them.

Lastly, I love the whole movie series that it would be hard for me to enumerate everything that I see in the movie. Just the thought of the movie trilogy makes me so interested that I want to watch it again.

I love so many movies and for so many different reasons. However, my favorite movie of all time is definitely 'The Wizard of Oz'. I've loved it since the first time that I saw it as a child. I am amazed by how few children are familiar with the movie today. I never miss an opportunity to show a child this movie. Although there are tons of movies that I love, this one can't be beat!

My favourite movie is 'Baby's day out'The movie is really interesting and a good choice for those who like children movies. The scenes in this movie are breathtaking. Imagine a toddler taking three grown men round in circles.I've watched this movie over and over and I still find it worth to watch one more time. The movie begins with the three musketeers entering the house and disappearing with the child but the child,in his innocence perceives it to be fun and carries the day after proofing a tough but to crack. After failing terribly to kidnap the boy and obtain ransom from his terrified parents, the three swore never to have babies in their lives.

Over the years, I have loved the 1994 movie 'Surviving the Game' starring Ice T. The movie flows from a poor-me urchin or homeless man to a self defending person due to the circumstances brought on him unwittingly. He discovers his inner ability and power hence boldly refuses to be pushed to his death by the a rich clout that has no value for other peoples lives.

It moves from horror of death to survival with numerous twists of humor. It has made me watch it a thousand times without any slight feeling of boredom. In some way, I see it being motivational to those people who think they have reached the rock bottom; you can rise and be counted again-never give up in live!

My all time favorite movie is “Life is Beautiful” it’s and Italian movie about a father who attempts to hold his family together despite the war that is happening in their country. A father that manage to tell his son that what is happening to them is just a game that they should not be seen by anyone and the winning prize is a tank.

To me its the "Gangs of Wasseypur (2012)" I just can't express how well this movie has been made. I personally dislike Anurag Kashyap on his political views but this movie is the reason why i still admire his work and creativity. I couldn't find any flaw in this movie. Each character was brilliant.

Even perpendicular and definite acted better than the so called khans of our industry. Amazing plot and an amazing screenplay. You will feel like you are actually living in that part of the world.

The music was amazingly good. The music that was somewhat regional had an amazing western touch. I can say all this with confidence because I am from bihar and i am well aware of the culture.

The actors were the soul of this movie. Any words of appreciation would be less.

I was literally surprised to see the details that the director had worked upon in this movie.

Hello Kurdapia122! I am also a big movie fan and have watched so many great films that I have lost track of the number of movies that I've seen. You're definitely right, "The Matrix" was definitely a good one to watch and is one that kept you on the edge of seat waiting to see what was coming-next. However I would say that this 1995 American stoner comedy film which was directed by F. Gary Gray entitled "Friday" was my absolute favorite film of-all-time. This film starred Ice Cube (known as Craig Jones in the film) and Chris Tucker (known as Smokey in the film). This film was my favorite in lieu of the comedy and constant laughs that came with the story-line. There was also a message within this film that helped encourage others to not get involved with the wrong crowd. So, yeah "Friday" is definitely my number one pick.
