What is education for you?

When you say education people would think it is from being graduated to a masterals degree or a bachelors degree. When i was young my mother always told me to finish my study because thats the only thing they could give me, education. Unluckiky i didnt finish my study because i got pregnant at the early age. But moving forward as i grow, little by little i realized the real meaning of education. Its not from being graduated from school rather its how you have become with or without school. You can tell if a person is well educated not by his knowledge but by his personality. If you know know how to understand, if you can show kindness in return and knows how to respect others im sure you will also gain respect in return. I believe being respected by someone is better than being beautiful on their eyes. Did you know why A comes first before B in the alphabet? Simply because Attitude first before Beauty and before Brain! Being kind and being with God is the real meaning of education for me. Whats yours?

Education to me is the imparting of knowledge and skills. It is systematically and progressively exposing a person to ideas and skills, from the simple to the more complex, from the concrete to the abstract. The aim is to enable this person to utilise the knowledge and skills attained, and to encourage further thought and innovation in the area of learning, therefore contributing to the growth of the body of knowledge in that specific area.

 

As we all know, education is important in our life. Education is the only thing that helps us to differentiate what is wrong and what is right. Without education we can’t do what we want or we can’t reach our destination. Education helps us in each and every field of our life.

To me education is the gateway to success. Success can be achieved when people have knowledge, skills and attitude. All these things can be gained only with the help of education. I believe that education is the only way which shows us many ways to lead and utilize our life properly. No person in the world with education is neglected.

 

Education is the harmonious development of the spiritual, mental and physical faculties of a human being.

 

It is a basic need to any one so that they can obtain knowledge, in this new age as it is with civilized society . You don't have to obtain a good for you to be educated.

 

In Kenya education is one of the basic needs a child is entitled to have. It is imparting skills knowledge and abilities that aims at creating a person of sound morals. An educated person can easily be distinguished from an ordinary individual by his language and actions.

 

Education is everything for me, because we can achieve every goal of life by getting a good education.Education is the one of the basic needs of today's children.Education is too important in every field of life.It is too important to create a civilzed and well mannered society.

 

Education is the process of facilitating,learning or the acquisition of knowledge,skills,value,beliefs and habits.

Education method include: storytelling,discussion,teaching,training and direct research.

 

Education for me is being able to implement what one has learnt to the society. According to me, if one cannot be able to make good use of what he or she has learnt, then he or she has learnt nothing and that is not education.

 

Education is the facilitation of the learner's abilities to construct for themselves a worthwhile life, so far as learning can. So many answers merely show us a little bit of this - critical thinking, problem-solving, "getting in touch with reality or the truth" (which really needs a lot of analysis), learning how to learn. All of these are far too limited to give a whole answer, or to address the complexity of the whole human being and its problems with flourishing.

Neither is it just "facilitating learning", for learning can be extremely harmful. Indoctrination is also learning, and all that learning that we so often call "baggage" is learning that actually gets in the way of our making judgments and decisions towards living the best lives we can.

Obviously, too, education should not be reduced to schooling or teaching, both because other institutions and technologies are just as relevant, but also because schooling and teaching and other technologies and ways of inducing learning can be turned to harmful effect, as well as to good.

Education is one of the ways in which we act out our respect for ourselves and others.

 

Education is an important key to one's life. As for our parents, they see this as the best gift they can give their children. Education is very important. It allows us to learn and is a bridge of reaching our goals in life. As what they say, education is a key to success. It hones us to be a better version of ourselves through the learnings, the knowledge, and the experiences.

 

Education is the treasure that can never be stolen by someone else. It is the knowledge that should be used in real life to make color and purpose. It is also a weapon for poverty in the world. That is the education for me.

 

Education for me continuous learning. Even after you finished a degree on college, education doesn't stop there. Education is everywhere. As we grow older, we can realize that you can educate yourself more. Not all of us can go have high degree of education in school but it's not a reason for us to stop learning. If your ignorant now a day, it means you are lazy to learn. You can have learn many things around you, read books, have online tutorials and courses and many more. You can learn in so many ways whether it's formal or informal education.

 

Education is the process of educating or of being educated. In this world that we live in, education is very important. When we talks about education, first thing that comes out of peoples mind is about schooling. They have this idea that education can only be taught in schools and that those who graduated only are the educated people. But I totally disagree with this kind of idea. Because for me education is everywhere, there are lots of ways to educate your self, its not only through the school. And also, education is a continuous process. It does not stop when you graduated. For as long as you still live on this planet earth, and continue to learn new things in different ways, education is still working. Education can only be stop in a person's life if he/she is to passed away. And by way, there are lots of successful individuals that did not graduated in any school or worst cases they are the drop outs of those schools. And one of those is Bill Gates.

 

I believe a person is educated enough if he/she can question what they've been taught. If this is put in action, the consequences could be very positive for anyone. The only proven side effect is imagination and an edge in knowledge.

 

You are the books you read, the films you watch, the music you listen to, the people you interact with, the conversations you engage in, the dreams you have. You don't need to have a degree to master this. Self-education is paramount.

 

Education is about teaching ,learning skills and knowledge .Education also means helping people to learn how to do things and encouranging them to think about what they learn

 

It is the training of the mind to think.
In school, students are thought about basic skills and important knowledge about the world. It mimics the society or life and provides a safe environment for students to learn from their mistakes. When we joined the world outside the classroom, there are no teachers or faculty staff that can help us with our problems in life, so the only thing we can do is to rely on our own wits and solve it in many ways we prefer.
Life itself is a school. It provides a tough and quality education for everyone. Tests are given first before the lesson and when you still didn't learn, you will have to take another test and it will continue until you learn the lesson it wanted to teach you.

 

Education comes in so many forms. There's education provided at colleges and universities. Then there's the education that comes from attending vocational schools. Finally, there's the education that comes from life experiences.

The education that is provided in a school setting gives students a chance to learn from trained professionals who have a desire to pass along their knowledge and skills to willing students. The education that comes from life experiences come from trial and error and sometimes is very painful. Given, the choice, I'd rather learn from trained professionals so that I can avoid mistakes based on their experiences.
