Clearing your browsing history is very good especially if you are using a computer from a workplace. Clearing your browsing data helps in erasing private information like your bank details and passwords. These two things are very vulnerable to hacking and so it is good not to leave your personal details including your location on the web.

I have my own laptop but I always delete my browsing history before shutting it down. I just feel like it takes a lot of my computer's memory. Haha! :D I didn't think it may compromise personal information. But after reading your post I guess I have a better reason now why I need to clear my browsing history all the time, since I also visit and register to a lot of websites. Thanks! ;)

Yes of course I do. We never know what could happen. Someone can hack your laptop and easily get access to all your informations, including your browsing history.

I rarely clean up history on my computer as long as I still use it myself and only me who use that computer. and no one is using it. for our computer security and important data data that is in our computer then we must use internet security from antivirus which is famous and has proven effective can protect our computer from hacker attack or cyber criminals

I hardly clear my browsing history since I chat mostly via my phone or personal laptop. Once in a while, I go to my hubby's office to browse and he does the clearing for me if I forget.

Clearing your browser history is a good practice. It will save you a lot of problems that may arise from someone else accessing your browser. Hackers can access your passwords , your boss can fire you for accessing the wrong stuff at your workplace, your wife can leave just because of a browser history, your browser history can be incriminating evidence etc. So it's always safe to keep your browser history on empty and if need arises such that you need to re open a particular tab, bookmark it instead or write link down.

Sometimes I do, other times when am in a hurry I don't. Clearing browser is important because of the following reasons:

    1. Avoid websites tracking you. Your name, password and gmail can be track, thus it's important to clear browser history so that no one is able to get your personal details.

2.Slow browser. In an instant where the browser is unable to load information, its advisable to clear the browser and restart the computer.

    3. For security purposes. One need to clear browser's history so that unauthorized persons may not access you information. Also personal information would not be shared when the browser is cleared.

    4. To make it easier for the next user. By clearing cache the next computer user will not have difficulty time using the device. It reduce loads in the computer.

Yes, clearing browser history is a must.
I do it as a habit that before I close my browser, I should clean my browsing history first. It is important for both my browser and PC maintenance as well as for security. Although the risk might be minimal, it is better to be careful. I do it not just in PC but also in other devices as well so in that way when I lend or lost my phone or tablet I would have fewer things to worry about.

I have never cleared my browsing history for months. Maybe it is because I am the only one using my laptop everyday, or it's just because I don't even remember to do that! I still don't seem to have a good reason to do so, but I think I may work with a group one day in a work place or anywhere and I think it is good for me to start developing habits that will save me from these consequences.

Thanks for sharing the great advice! I clear out my browsing history most of the time. Although, I tend to leave up any pages that I am still interested in going back to or haven't finished working on yet. I use them as reminders sometimes, to make sure i get back to the page later, incase i haven't completed whatever it was that i was working on. Having a toddler can be distracting, so it definitely comes in handy as a reminder tool. But, i do worry about hacking sometimes as well.

I clear my browsing history on the first of every month. It's a habit of mine because I do a lot of editing I need to make sure I can find something I did 1 and a half weeks ago through browsing history, and at the first of every month I hand all of my work that I have completed into my boss.

I have automated the process of clearing my browsing history along with running disk cleanup and disk defrag so it is cleared nightly. It is quite easy to do and you don't have to remember to do it! :)

Yes, every month. I do not want my browsing history for a year to be saved up by Google, they might use it on their advertising preferences. Ads are definitely annoying for me that is why I use an Ad Blocker on my browser when using a PC.

In the future, if you wish to have privacy, use the search engine DuckDuckGo.com, they claim that it is completely private and your search untraceable. But as the saying goes, "Everything leaves a footprint" there's always a way, at least make the job harder for them.

Yes, clearing the browsing history is very important because it prevents our private information to be used by the hacker for their preference, but I think they can still recover it even we deleted it.

After all, when browsing across the internet always think it before you click because this will prevent you in any kind of risk across the internet.
