Currently, my favorite quote is, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.- Philippians 4:13" I have this quote next to my signature on Yahoo mail. The statement is powerful and uplifting, but the most beautiful part of this quote is that I strongly feel that it's true.

My favorite quote is "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind". It was a quote from Mahatma Gandhi which has great importance.

We all make mistakes. Even though it may be tough to be on the wrong side of a sinful act realize that the person doing it to you is only human. They may have a problem in their life; they may be confused about what they want from this world. Don't be mad at them. Your hatred only breeds more hatred and in turn only makes the world a less enjoyable place to live. Revenge is not the answer. We should condemn the act, but also learn to forgive someone who made the mistake. We all have our own imperfections.

My favorite quote in life is "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken." This quote was from Oscar Wilde. The message that Oscar is trying to express in his quote is that when you are true to yourself, you allow your individuality and uniqueness to shine through. After all, we are all born to stand out not to fit in. I apply this quote in my daily life because being my true self makes me happy. Being myself, that’s what I believe. I believe that the world would be a better place if people didn’t live their lives being what other people want them to be.

My favourite quote is "Never give up since limit is the sky", this quote usually keeps me going no matter what I face in life that may make me to want to give up in life.

I always take my mentor Ben Carson as my mentor when it comes to this quote, when he wrote his book of gifted hands.

"The important thing is not to stop questioning, curiosity has its own reason for existing." - Albert Einstein.

This is probably my favorite due to the fact that I kind of recognize myself in that quote. I am definitely a huge questionnaire and I could ask hundreds of questions about things that really interest me. Curiosity really does have its own reason for existing, and to me, that is learning about fascinating things. One of those things would be space, the universe, and theories such as the M-Theory, also equations such as general relativity and special relativity.

Another quote I also love is, "Everyone is a genius, if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life believing it is stupid".

And why I love this quote so much is because it's kind of true. Everyone is a genius in their own way, everybody is good at different things. Some might be good at solving math problems while others might be better at painting. Either way, everyone is a genius.

My favourite quote has to be; "some people feel the rain, others get wet." I like to think of it this way, you may be going through a rough patch, so rough that you can't see things ever working out for you. But you have two options, either sit there and let your problems eat you up or, make the best out of your problems.

You know feel the rain and look for shelter, or just let the rain soak you wet. Speak to the problem and not about the problem. Try and make the proverbial lemonade out of the lemon that life hands out to you. Never ever, and i repeat never let your problems eat you up.

My all time favorite quote is by Mark Twain, "But who prays for Satan? Who in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most, our one fellow and brother who most needed a friend yet had not a single one, the one sinner among us all who had the highest and clearest right to every Christian's daily and nightly prayers, for the plain and unassailable reason that his was the first and greatest need, he being among sinners the supreme-st?"

The bible tells us to pray for forgiveness of our sins and also pray for those who sin against us, right? But Christians and literally all religions ignore the one sinner that needs our prayers most.

"Home is where the heart is." This is my favorite quote because only when I'm at home with my family is the happiest moments of my life. Whether we're watching television, eating on the dining table or telling stories, these the moments that I will treasure in my heart. My family is the most important thing in the world and the best gift God has given me.

My favourite quote would have to be "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying" by Michael Jordan. This is my favourite quote not because I love basketball and that I am a Michael Jordan fan, but also because the quote is true.

I have encountered so many meaningful quotes I am not certain which is my favorite. Terry Pratchett was a British author with an inspirational perspective expressed throughout his writings. I love his Discworld series and the wealth of quotes it contains. I can not choose only one so I will mention a few I felt had the most impact. The first is "Sometimes it's better to light a flamethrower than to curse the darkness." I have always taken this one to mean it is better to cause chaos and attract any possible attention than to complain, which accomplishes nothing. ""The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it" is a quote I find very accurate. There are few people in this world so dangerous as those who are convinced they know the only possible truth. The third quote is "There's nothing amazing about size. Turtles are amazing, and elephants are quite astonishing. But the fact that there's a big turtle is far less amazing than the fact that there is a turtle anywhere." The author himself chose to explain the third mentioned quote. He believed the existence of a turtle is miraculous in itself and the existence of life is quite enough while the miraculous nature of it does not stop at human beings, but applies to all life in our world.

I have come across so many inspiring quotes. But at the moment, my favourite quote is "Man know thyself. An unexamined life is not worth living". This quote was from Socrates. It sums up my view about life.

There are certain actions that we take which aren't just worth it and the sooner we start to let go of them, the better we we become as individuals. We have to keep on examining our life. Are we really doing what should be done? Are we the kind of person we would want others to associate with? Is our present lifestyle in tandem with what we desire from life? Such questions usually arise from the quote.

The quote inspires me alot. I even use it as my status here on Forum Wheel and on my WhatsApp.

My favorite quote is "your soul is the price of paradise, so do not sell it to anything else". This quote tells us to keep our focus on God and not to let ourselves be distracted by this temporary world. Instead we should strive to do all we can for our everlasting life after death.

My favorite quote is "Never argue with a fool, people might not notice the difference" This assist me in choosing the discussions I am involved in. You might find yourself arguing with someone who doesn't even know what he or she is saying.

My favorite quote of all times is one from Epicurus that says "Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for." It is one of the quotes that truly resonates with all of my thoughts and actions. Although I had accidentally stumbled upon it during my freshman days while I was studying Philosophy, it has now become an affirmation to me. I liked this quote basically because of a firm believe that I have, that most things in life are just illusions.

This is one of my favorite Bible verses. It is so inspiring and informative. We can do anything. Imagine that.

However, my favorite secular quote is by Ralph Waldo Emmerson, “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” It is so important for us to create our own trail. Too many people in this world try to be like someone else or a group of people. We were created as individuals with individual passions, missions, likes and dislikes, knowledge, and skills. We should celebrate our individuality, our uniqueness.

I also think we need to gain knowledge about topics before we follow the popular opinion because, many times, the crowd is uninformed and leading us down a path toward something we do not believe in or agree with. As adults, this is even more important because our children emulate us. Therefore, if we follow the crowd, they will also. However, if we value our individuality and blaze our own trails, their eyes will be opened to the many opportunities they have in this world.

My favorite quote is probably "Either with this or on this." It was said by spartan mothers when they gave their sons their shields when leaving for combat. Either they return with their shields or die on it(because to retreat you'd have to leave your shield behind). It inspires me to think that death is better than defeat. To give it your all or die. I think we can all take something away from the quote.

My favorite quote is “some days she has no idea how she’ll do it but every single day she gets it done.”

This quote means a lot to me because it gives me motivation to never stop trying. Some days I have my doubts but this quote teaches me that no matter what you’re going through you need to get up and get it done.

My favorite quote is one that I created for myself. It is also my life motto/philosophy.

"If I have to work hard my entire life to obtain, achieve, acquire or accomplish just ONE thing, I am taking it with me when I go."

I believe that I am living my life philosophy. I have nothing in the worth of material wealth, but through my life experiences and hard inner work, I have obtained a wealth of spiritual knowledge and wisdom. This is something I can give freely and generously to the entire world and still take it all with me when I leave.

My favorite quote has been attributed to African American scientist George Washington Carver. It is: "When you can do common things in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world."

I am a poet and storyteller by choice. It has always been my dream to pursue a career as a writer and motivational speaker, but I was waiting for the opportunity to present myself and show what I could really do, but while I sat and waited, the opportunity never came. And I spent several years working in marketing and communications, the closest field to my dream that paid well. I convinced myself that while I could not necessarily be as creative as I wanted, I was paying the bills, and of course that was important. But I was dissatisfied and unhappy all the time in a way that I could not explain. See, I was choosing to be common.

In my job, I was mass producing. I was one member in a line of many making the same stitches, using the same voice, writing in the same way, peddling the same message. Nothing I did stood out and a lot of what I wrote, I didn't believe in. And that is when I came across the quote by George Washington Carver. His life story and this quote in particular really inspired me to independently use my skills as a writer and speaker.

Today, I spend a fair amount of time as an author, poet and storyteller. I write, I speak at functions, and I strive to do the simplest things in an uncommon way. I may not always get it right, but I carry George Washington Carver's message in my heart believing that I will one day, in a positive way, command the attention of the world.
