Unknown musicians

Does anyone here listen or actively seek out unknown musicians that were not back up by a major label?
There were plenty of them in Youtube. You get genres of music that were outside the mainstream.

If you don't know where to start, I recommend Youtube channels like Discovering Music if you like electro blues or rock blues music. There was Montage Rock, as it's name imply it advertises rock music.

For other genres, use the Youtube or Bandcamp search engine and you will be surprise what you will find. Let's support unknown musicians or singers more.

Well, unknown musicians, that is one hard to talk about topic - some are good, some aren't. Plus some are known in one part of the world and completely ignored in another.....and some are just Cinderellas [loads of them, but only Siobhan Donaghy comes to mind now, uuugh] .....:~
