Am a big fan of romantic movies and I think most girls are. Women desire of being treated in a manner like how women in these films are cared for. We like to try to look for our happily ever after, although a lot of men don't like this type of movie because they are advised by the lady the things they should do.

I love romantic movies so much. It’s so sweet to imagine such sappy romance and happy endings.

However, comedies are great, too. It’s always nice to laugh every once and a while.

Why not just meet in the middle and watch a romantic comedy?

I love a good comedy with witty jokes. The likes of Think like a man and Madea series...they get you good. Hey...since we were toddlers we grew with Mr. Bean and Charlie Chaplin, they were the bomb back in the day.

Romance on the other hand requires a certain amount of emotional attachment which most men luck, me included. I would pick comedy over romance any day.

Comedy movies are a good way of cheering you up when having a bad day. They are also used to increase your sense of humour, therefore you can use the jokes learnt to cheer up friends.

On the other hand romantic movies will help one gain better ways on how to treat their couples, solve relationship issues and gain them better experience on relationships.

I would go for a comedy since the comedy movie can be watched at anytime of the day with any type of company, but romantic movies are only watched with a selective type of company.

I feel like when it comes to romance, a larger percent of men do whatever they can to avoid seeing that side of themselves.
Absorbing all the messages about love, sex and romance leads up to trying to implement the same in real life which ends up upseting the balance that men have managed to maintain for centuries and that scares most people.
I think laughing makes us healthier plus funny wins over sad which comes embeded with most romantic movies, so personally I prefer comedies.

Well, as for me I prefer both. I like romcom type of film. You can be inlove and at the same time happy when you watch this kind of film. It will always make you feel giddy and feel good. These are the films that are the best to watch when you want to boost your mood.

My preference is comedy. Laughter gives me a good mood. This is as opposed to romance which i find to be rather dull and with a sad mood.
I dislike romance movies for the fact that they actually set a very high bar for us as men, when in fact if you reach that bar, ladies deem you to be insecure.

I'll choose comedy rather than romance. There are many forms of expression inside of everybody; however the most common form is
laughter. The sound of laughter can be heard all around the worlds every second, it helps us relieve stress and makes us feel better about ourselves. Comedy movies play such an important role in helping us laugh. There are many forms of movies out there today. In spite of the recent incline in action and horror movies today, comedy movies has always been my number one choice because it gives people an opportunity to look at humor in life, it usually has a pointless, useless moral that we can relate to, and it allows you to look at things in a new light and possibly expand your horizon to become a more optimistic person.

All comedies always have one essential ingredient to make it a great comedy, humor. All comedies give people an opportunity to look at humor in life and laugh at it. Comedies usually show a hilarious scene for people to enjoy and laugh at. Many scenes which has a outburst of crazy and ridiculous moments will not usually happen in our daily life, but its fun to enjoy. For example, Ace Ventura: pet detective the character is looking for a missing dolphin, he goes into an aquarium to look for some clues and he gets on top of a tank and falls into a shark tank and when he came back out of the tank his clothes is ripped into shreds and people are looking at him
with a surprised look and the character says something ridiculous.

Actually I do prefer both comedy and romance depending on my mood. Watching comedy is best if you are with your family or friends. I think comedy films are important because it gives us smile and laughter on our faces, aside from that it also gives us a break and it temporarily forgets our problems. Sometimes we get emotional through the things happening around us. With that,we need to keep calm and avoid those kind of things and instead of worrying or getting angry with someone or something, we just need to get things over through focusing on other things that gives us more positive mood. I think one of the lists you can do is watching comedy films. You can either bring your family or group of friends who are willing to help you from your problems. Optimism is also essential to us human beings for it gives us the bright side of life. We need to have a positive mood whatever circumstances you are experiencing right now. You just have to work out yourself and make a space from everything that stresses you. There are a lot of things you can do but I think one of the ways are watching movies you prefer especially comedy ,and better yet if you are with your company.

I also like romantic genre but with a twist plot. I prefer watching romantic films alone because I am that kind of person who easily gets emotional and cry silently at the corner with a pillow especially when there are scenes that I can relate to my experiences. I don't want anyone else to notice me that I am crying so I prefer to watch alone if there are heavy drama in particular romantic film. Romantic films are best if there is a sense of humor involve or shall we say "romantic comedy" genre. This kind of genre is what I like the most. I like watching funny with romantic scenes just like in Korean films and drama. Some of their films has that kind of genre and their stories are unique which makes me want to watch even more of their films. I think romantic genres are also essential to our lives because either everyone or many of us can relate to this kind of genre.

Between comedy and romance, I would prefer comedy. In details I will explain why I would go for comedy.

First to the description, comedy genre means consisting jokes intended to make the viewers laugh. With comedy,it's not limited to any age or any gender, anyone can watch comedy. A child,a young man,an old woman, anyone without restrictions. Main intentions to make people happy and laugh. Change of moods is guaranteed, from sadness or moody to happiness. As they say, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Being happy keeps the soul pure and delighted. Who wouldn't go for happiness in their daily lives?

With romance genre,it means a movie that gives a feeling of excitement associated with love, to be specific something to do with intimacy. Everyone loves to be loved and being shown affection. But we wouldn't want our children watching grown ups getting intimate during our family movie time. That brings me to my first point, romance is restricted to age and sex too. Children cannot watch romance movie, it's not advisable. Most times men prefer action to romance. Personally, I don't like romantic movies, those fantasies cloud our minds and yet what we get in real life is different from what we watch. Hence disappointment. I hate living in a fairy tale. Mysteries are fun, so it's best to not fantasize and wait for your own original experience which is not corrupted by something you watched from a movie.

To conclude, I would go for comedy a thousand times. According to me watching "Mr. Bean" is far more better than watching "Fifty Shades of Grey". I will watch freely with just anyone I wish and expecting happiness, because I love being happy.

I prefer comedy movies any time. First of all most of them are family appropriate meaning you can watch them at any time. They also help in lightening the moods since they are all about humor .Having said that, it does not mean I don't watch romantic movies. It all depends with my current mood and company.

I love comedy, but then again a little romance gives taste to a movie. For me, a comedy that incorporates a little romance here and there will go a long way.I have watched a lot of comedy before and i can tell you for certain that none of the comedies has lacked some romance. On the other hand romance movies may or may not have comedy in them but that does not make it absent of fun excitement and laugh, the sort of puppy love between the characters brings out the fun in it.

Between the two, I prefer watching comedy. Comedy movies gives people an opportunity to look at humor in life. People like to entertain themselves as they want to escape reality. Usually after a busy day, they need time to relax and the best way to relieve stress is by watching these movies. Watching comedy movies makes me laugh and feel better after a long stressful day. Even though most movies throw out pointless and useless morals, it somehow helps us lighten our moods and become more optimistic in life.

I prefer comedy. I don't really like the way romance movies always complicate things to make a point. Comedy is more straightforward and what's more, I will laugh. Romance usually brings with it a dull mood.

Comedy done right is at worst the 3rd best genre out there. A legitimately good comedy movie or series will leave you feeling lighter and brighter somehow.

Romance is not bad either but I feel like there's very little new stuff to bring to the screen if it's soley romance. Combined in another genre then of course. Drama or scifi incorporated with a bit of romance? Count me in

I prefer comedy to romance since romance movies tend to have sad moods.
    Comedy movies leave you happier.
But a combination of romance and comedy is even better.
