Yes! I am addicted to music. Some points I considered to like a song is the arrangement of the tune and melody. Second is the lyrics but it is better if the song sounds good and wonderful with meaningful lyrics. What I like the most about music is that music is one of your ways to escape your problems temporarily. It serves as your company, a friend if you are emotionally stress or sad. This will serves as your medicine which relaxes your mind and I think It releases some emotional stress from you body if you listen to music. For me it serves as stress reliever and music makes me want to let go of my emotions so it helps me express my emotions and thoughts. It changes your mood so music is very essential to me and to everyone. You can also write your thoughts and feelings thru creating lyrics and composing songs. It also gives color to our world, without music our world would be so boring and dull. Music gives happiness to everyone, it gives you sadness and despair. It inspires you to do your work enthusiastically. Music can makes a lot of functions and important roles in our world. This will also serves as the spice to the media because without music watching tv alone without sounds or music is totally boring. I do love listening to musical instruments especially piano, guitar and violin. It really relaxes my mind. It gives me meditation and it helps me to cry out all my feelings and emotions that's why I can't live without music because music is my friend who used to be there always when I am lonely.

Quite honestly, yes. I can't go a day without music. I use music during work, during my showers, during exercise; it just makes everything flow quicker and more efficiently. Above all though, I love music during these activities cause it makes me happier and more willing to go through with the work. Everything is more enjoyable with music: hanging out with friends, partying, bathing, everything is just better. Music can help you through a hard time. Music can hype you up during a social event. I see no downsides.

I definitely agree with you on this one! I literally can't go a day without listening to music. Life wouldn't be the same without music since it would probably be super boring. My headphones would probably be one of the most important thing that I own aside from the laptop or a smartphone. I usually keep an extra pair of earphones because you'll never know when you'll have emergency moments of boredom while you're on the road or away from home. Listening to music is just like listening to stories wherein you find a special emotion especially when the song lyrics hit you real hard. Nonetheless, music is a good addiction that helps relieve stress, anxiety and depression.

No i'm not.Music just gets me out of really bad moments of my life. Some form of stress reliever i need even if its just for a short while or temporarily. There is always a music for every kind of situation. Sometimes music also makes the good times worth my while. I do not think this is addiction. Rather, i think of music as a 911 call that always comes through for me.

Hi everyone. Addiction is just the process by which we return to one thing again and again. So yes, it's possible to be addicted to music, just like its possible to be addicted to eating ice cream. Now as to whether or not that addiction is problematic, it's more complicated and often depends on what type of music, what else you are able to do when you're listening, and how it affects you in the long term.

Yes, I am addicted to music as I listen to it for around five to six hours of my active time daily. Music is a source of inspiration and life without music would be the definition of a boring world. Music improves my mood and making me feel relaxed and better. The benefits of music are somehow unique from other hobbies such as watching movies and television. It can help bring all those happy memories that in the end makes you a happy person. I listen to a variety of genres but my preferred genre is Reggae, Hip Hop and Pop music.

I really do love music. There is nothing that brings me as much joy as stumbling across an amazing song that has yet to be heard by many other people so I have turned into a "collector" of sorts.

But I wouldn't say i'm addicted. Yes I listen to it while studying, cooking, cleaning, walking to class, waiting for the lecturer to arrive....huh. Maybe I am after all. Atleast it's healthier than other addiction problems right?

I'm very much addicted to music. I think I can't live without music. Before and after sleep, I used to listen to my favorite playlist to calm my mind, and to ease the pain or stress. Most of the time when I travel going to work, my music is my companion it's always there to remind me what to do depends on the lyrics. I'm a moody person, and sometimes my headset or earphone is the only one who can understand me. Music helps me to ignore the people around me even in a crowded place. I can easily find my privacy even at the public places by just listening to music. I used to write some song lyrics sometimes and I'm also using my guitar. My father was a musician and member of a band when he was young, maybe I got this attitude from him. I inspired to learn my guitar because of him, my father taught me not only the a, b, c alphabet but also the a, b, c chords of guitar. Actually right now, I think I'm not addicted to music anymore, music is my therapy now.

I'm so addicted to music that I can't do without it. I'm always listening to music most of the time, especially when am doing house chores. It's really fun and helps one to finish chores in no time. Music takes ones mind far, and can make one feel so happy. I love listening to love songs when am sad, and Hip hop when I feel so happy.

I listen to several types of music, so I can say that I am addicted to music. Most of the time I listen to gospel music as it helps in relieving me of stress, ensuring am in a happy and thankful mood throughout and singing along also makes me feel my spiritual development keeps advancing.
Unfortunately, pop music seems to be a distraction when am concentrating, but listening to soft instrumental classical music like Mozart has always had a positive effect on my understanding capabilities.
I am among those who can profess that they can concentrate better with music playing in the background than when it is too silent or noise from people talking.

It is not a matter of being addicted or not but music is like part of our daily life. The type of music you are listening to at a particular moment describes the situation you are in. Like myself, when am stressed I listen to slow jams those which lure me to sleep and forget everything, when am under critical situation I listen to gospel, and so on. In addition, there is a type of music which when you listen to in motivates you to work. So we are part of music and music is part of our lives. I can't imagine this life without music. It will be unbearable.

I think being addicted to music is a big word. Why? Well I think let me start at the beginning. Before we were even born and even our parents are born, we are kinda exposed to music like for example in some movies, they always show a pregnant woman sitting on a chair and listen to music and expose her baby to music and in return, the baby responds to the music that her mom was listening to. So just to say that being addicted to music is a big word because how can we become addicted to something that was born with us from the beginning? I think listening to music and being 'Addicted' to it is like us being addicted to water.

I guess the more proper word to use is we are dependent on music and not addicted because when we are lonely, happy, or even angry we always fall back on music. Even when I am depressed during the lowest point in my life I always depend on music to help me on my mood or just to give me encouragement and I think that is what music is all about. But I guess I can say that yes, I am addicted to music and I am dependent on it just like the rest of us here. :)

Am not addicted to music but once in a while i make time to listen to music. This is when am free at home, when doing chores or when trying to relieve stress. I could do without it anyway.
