I love to play different musical pieces with my flute and piccolo. I play them whenever I have a free time from work. It helps me relax and unwind from a stressful day or week. I also wanted to try new instruments so I am now learning to play guitar, aside from that, in the future I wanted to play trumpet or the violin.

I use to play the drums. I would find myself getting into a "zone" when I would play. If I had something that upset me, it would seem to dissolve with each beat. I also use to play the piano. Although, I was much better at the drums. I think I would also like to learn new instruments. I heard that the violin is a very difficult instrument to play. Is that true? I have to say that music, either playing it or listening to it has a relaxing effect. It has a definite effect on emotions. Whether good or bad.

I play piano as it is my favorite music instrument. This is because piano has the broadest range of any instrument ,so music for all other instruments can be composed on it.Piano is easy to play and enjoyable.

Our family clan, my mother's side, are musician and most of them can really play guitar but my uncles and grandfather can also play other instruments such as keyboard, drums, bass, trumpet, beat box. They are very inspiring since they are really great in playing instruments. Every time they gathered together, including my mother and grandmother, they always jam together with the offsprings (cousins). Since I have cousins who are great singers, my uncle want me to sing also while they accompanying me. They knew that I can sing, it is just that I am timid to sing infront of many people. For now, I composed songs and I'm also the one who played a guitar while singing my compositions. Sometimes I also play keyboard since I have a bit knowledge on it and I did not took some lessons, I'm only doing self study. My cousins are really good in playing guitar and beat box and I know I am nothing compared to them but I have skills that they can not do. That skills is drawing and I noticed that I belong to the clan with creative minds so I guess being in a musician family and artists (other relatives) is such a blessings to us.

At some point during my childhood playing the piano became a part of me. I think that playing the piano can be a major source of pleasure and fulfilment. The songs I learnt during my piano lessons became a part of me as well. Classical pieces by Beethoven and Chopin became so dear to me that whenever I had a problem I would just sit down and scream all my frustrations into the piano as it was my way of releasing all my stress and anger. All the stress would flow into the music and from there happiness and contentment would follow.

I enjoy playing the Piano and the Guitar. They are both very good instruments and enjoyable to play, I prefer to play children's upbeat songs on the Guitar and Slower songs on the Piano.

I find that with the Guitar it's a lot more fun if people are there singing along with you, I do enjoy playing the guitar for other people even if they are not singing along. I also enjoy playing the Guitar alone because then I can practice some of the songs I have no quite gotten perfect.

I find that the piano is a great instrument if your doing a recital or play. If you want to impress someone with music then the Piano is a great way to do it. I also enjoy playing in the church choir. I also found that the piano was a great way to relive stress and anxiety from a day at school. It's relaxing for me and enjoyable.

I love playing music with my guitar. I love singing, and guitar is the first instrument that I bought.

I like the rhythm of the guitar especially if it is accompanied by my own voice. Aside from writing, singing and playing guitar is what I like the most.

Currently I play the clarinet in my school band. I have been playing music for 5 years. I started off playing the flute but later branched off to the Clairinet.

Playing music and understanding the music language makes you really appreciate the art of music a lot more than people that don’t play. Everyone appreciates music in different ways.

True;Personally, I play the piano keyboard. It really relaxes me when feeling down and also helps me in getting comfortable with self expression
When I was younger, a music group came to my school and that gave me the interest in playing the piano. I adore all percussion instruments and would very much like to explore the sounds and styles of other instruments one day. For now though I am very much sticking to my own instrument as I am trying to get a lot better at it.

Right now I only play acoustic guitar, I played piano when I was younger. My family has a long line of musicians in it, my father was a some what relevant bluegrass musician that was popular among locals. Lately I've been considering picking up an instrument called a hurdy gurdy, it's an unusual string instrument that uses a crank and wheel instead of a bow. It has such a unique sound I couldn't help but fall in love with the music it makes.

I took a few guitar lessons when I was a child, but didn't pursue it. My interest has always been the keyboard. My fingers are designed to play piano or organ. I have an electronic keyboard that I play by ear. I can't read music to save my life. The musical scale looks so foreign to me, but name a song and I'll play it back for you.

I like wind instruments and I played the recorder for years. I learned to play the recorder when I was in middle school. I guess our teachers selected it as a beginner instrument because it was simple to learn, but even so, it was terrible noise at first, and we had to have our music classes in a building that was some distance away from the school.

It took some time, but then I got the hang of it and I learned to read music. By the time I was seventeen, I was playing the recorder at church functions and for my youth group. I stopped playing for a while as an adult. I think I lost interest in it because it was not a very popular instrument, and there was hardly ever an opportunity to play. But then I came across some YouTube videos of young people playing a mix of Mozart, and Beethoven and modern music on the recorder and I was tempted to play again.

I've been playing the recorder again a few months now, I play it mostly for recreation and to relax, and now I am thinking about progressing to either the clarinet or the flute.

I did attempt to learn the Trumpet at school but I was pretty terrible. I could almost manage a rendition of "God Save the Queen", it didn't sound too bad if you overlooked the wrong notes and the occasional ear blast.

I would love to be able to play an instrument properly and did buy a Ukulele with the intention of teaching myself. Unfortunately it has remained in the box it was delivered in. Maybe one day I will seriously give it a try.

A 'home-made' accoustic guitar. When I was on high school, my classmate played a guitar, so harmonic and I was curious, so sometimes I tried to play and it's hard to manipulate.

Years after, a day before my birthday, 2016, with my best friend from my college days, I personally bought my very first accoustic guitar as my gift for my birthday, and later on, I was be able to play 'almost' smoothly.

Now, my tactics is lower normal, but I want to improve further: the fingerstyle, complicated chords and ways of strumming. Someday, I want to play on drums, but it's so expensive and it requires space, so, I'd rather play drums on my cellphone.

The instruments I know how to play are guitar, drums and keyboard or piano. For the guitar, I know how to play the acoustic, the lead, the bass, and the rhythm guitar. I think the key on learning on how to play an instruments is just truly concentrate on the instrument and the music. Do not concentrate on you performance first, just learn the basics because that will be the foundation of how good you will be. Don't rush your learning, you will not become a good musician overnight. Just take your time and enjoy the process. :) These thing were the same things that was taught to me when I was learning how to play and it helped me a lot and shape me as a musician as I move forward.

Another thing is learn the notes and open chords of the guitar cause it takes time to memorize those and it will help you to learn the more complex style of playing guitar like fingerstyle, fingerstyle with beats, etc. Just remember those and you will learn other more instruments after you learn the foundation of music and that is how I learn how to play those instruments and up until now I am studying music and I am trying to improve my skills and hoping to become a more good musician in the future. I hope this helps. :)

Wow, great! There's nothing like being surrounded with those who know and love music. It's a little heaven on earth. I can imagine what happens when all of you gather together for family meetings or other ceremonies.

I used to play violin before I got married but had long abandoned it. I'm planning to encourage my kids in that direction because; I don't know how true it is, I heard children exposed to musical instruments perform better in their academics.

Currently, I'm not playing anything. I have an acoustic guitar here that probably has 8 years old, and it is very conserved yet. I really like to play, but I lost my motivation and I have other things that I consider more important too. I need to learn new things too because I have not so many skills playing.

I hope to start to play and practice a lot soon because I really like it. I intend to buy an electric guitar too and in the future, I want to have some kind of studio to record some songs, and why not my own songs?!

Currently, I don't play any music instrument. But when I was at elementary school, I played traditional music instrument from Java called gamelan. Gamelan is a set of traditional music instruments.

I play the piano, rather I used to play the piano. It has been a few years since I played though and i really miss doing it. There is something rather magical about playing the keys and stringing them to form a beautiful melody. I own an acoustic guitar but i have no idea how to play it! I should probably look for a teacher
