I know there are lots of tools and tricks you can use to make your website easily but I find it a bit intermediating and I think others feel the same. Besides the design there is the content and ongoing up keep of the site.

How do you go about managing your website?

Did it turn out the way you wanted it to?

Managing a website is pretty hefty business and can stack up to more than you can handle if it's your first time. Start off easy and add on as you feel appropriate. I've tried making websites and they turn out okay for the most part, though I never publish them online since I don't think I could keep up with that. Try finding a friend or a small team who can help distribute the load.

Pretty much depends on the complexity on the website, knowing the existing tools helps A TON since you realize you don't need to spend that much time or money on something as simple as a customized blog.

A website can be a tool as little or as huge as you want it to be, therefore its management would depend on what you have.

WordPress is probably the most popular content management system out there, it's free and managing it is really straight forward except for some technical stuff with the code, plugins and customizing the themes, however, I've seen many many business owners going for WordPress when all they need is just a simple website that acts for them as a digital business card, nothing else, yet they spend tons money every year for getting hosting and developers to manage something with zero moving parts.

Managing your website shouldn't be too hard as long as you have everything on schedule - automated or not - because it's always best to be organized, that why content strategy and calendars are quite a topic on internet marketing.

As long as you can make it work you'll be able to scale it, websites are tools more than anything to the owner, it is up to you to take it or leave it.

I depends on what kind of website it is, like a personal website, a website for downloading things, or a website to promote your business. These days, there are many website builders and no one is using the HTML codes so, for people today it is very easy because of these website builders but I personally think that HTML codes are much more easier to use when creating websites. I manage my website the old way by making changes to my website on a file on my computer an uploading it to my server using a software called FileZilla. I think that my website came out a little better than I expected because when I started to put everything together I just kept on getting more and more great ideas.

It is fairly easy these days, you don't have to be an expert in coding to build a website. All you have to do is to sign up for a website builder like Squarespace or Wix, chose a template, drag and drop your desired feature to the website. You're good to go. If want to learn the technique of website building you can go to wordpress.org, there are tons of tutorial available on the internet on how to build a website with WordPress and you will learn along the way.

Its easy but need a patience. If you a self work, This require more than six month for creating website.
I have three website but still in build. There still low traffic and my website link in the pages is not complete.
and I just start it with free website domain name and free hosting package
visit it if you want play flash game http://www.ditogamersite.esy.es

    My tips:
Keeps your website quality grow don't give up on your creation, buts if you not so professional you can start like me with free website domain name and free hosting package, after your website more popular you must upgrade your hosting package to avoid limited monthly bandwith and limited pagefile.
    ;)

I think the difficulty is to make the website appealing for the visitors. The choice of content and the placement of the content is very important. One thing that I don't get is why internet marketer on Click Bank persist using screaming yellow red and blue colors with forced nasty pop-ups whenever you try to leave the page.

Being difficult depends on the platform and experience you are using to build your website. If you are using the traditional HTML and CSS, it at first might be challenging but as you go by, you find out it's not that difficult. If you are using packages like WordPress or blogger, there are many online forums to support you, and even WordPress in particular, allows the use of plugins and widgets that make your website building easy. Nowadays we have "drag and drop" website builders for people who are not too programming inclined that helps you build your website in a matter of minutes.

Managing a website is not too difficult to do too. If you have challenges managing your website, you can always hire someone on freelancer websites to do that for you.

All websites have built, though not always easy, turned out the way I planned it to be.

You're right in that setting up and managing a website isn't as hard these days as it used to be in the past. Technology has gotten to the point that anyone can create a website with a few clicks of the mouse. The entry barrier is now so low that kids and old people can do it without a hassle. The trick, however, is learning how to design a professional looking website and to set up the navigation in a user friendly way. This is where a lot of people fail, in my opinion.

There are many ways to build a website. You don't have to be a professional. There are many professional website builders that will guide you through the entire process.

Another way you can build a website is to do it on your own. Thousands of people learn to code by self study. I think that being creative is the most important principle that "one" can have. Also, knowing the basic principles of web design is a very important factor. Anyone can build a website. Make your work stand out. Make your work inspire others to do their best.

I have seen a lot of people asking this questions all over the internet.I can say to you that there is no strict answer. It all depends on the complexity and the purpose of your website.A website has two noticable areas:

1.The "underground" part which contains the necessary codes for your website to work.

2.And the art or the graphic part of website which contains all the animations, pictures, tabs, colors etc.

Beside,in overall it shouldn't be difficult to create a simple website if you are familiar with web developing programming languages like Php,Html5,Javascript,CSS etc.
The graphic part then will be a lot more easier once you have completed the "underground" work.

Takes a lot of work to learn how the whole deal actually functions, but once you get the hang of it, it's quite manageable. I feel that programming, and web programming are pretty much like any other thing that requires skill - you need to understand how it works before you can take full advantage of it. Not saying you can't create a website with zero programming skills, I've done so using wordpress and it went okay, but having a website and good online presence can really be hard to figure out. Lots of people find it too challenging and quit, but like everything else in life, perseverance pays off.

It really depends on how you build the website and you're knowledge in making one. If you're an expert but you'll build it hardcoded, It will take you months to completely make one. But if you have just an average knowledge in programming but you will build it in Wordpress or other similar applications, in just two weeks you will finish your website.

It also depends on what kind of website you will be building. Some websites are easy to make because it is just a basic one like displaying information of the company and such. But websites nowadays are interactive to the users, it is made that way because it will attract the users. But those websites are difficult to make because they have many functions.

So if you want to create a beautiful and interactive website, don't expect that it will be easy to make.

Right now I am using blogspot as host for my website and I think everything runs fine. I am planning to transfer to wordpress sometime this year to have more control on my website. If you are new I am suggesting to try blogspot first for you to be familiar with basic themes and layout. Blogspot can introduce basic HTML codes to you too in just few clicks. You could also watch Youtube videos on how to build simple and basic wordpress built sites. If you want a lot of traffic to your site then you will need to add new articles and things on your site at least twice a week.

Building a website nowadays is quite easy, you don't have to do coding work anymore unlike in the past when websites where strictly hard coded. For Blogging purposes the most prominent platforms are WordPress, Blogger, Joomla, Tumblr and WIX for other uses you can easily make a website by choosing a good website builder, just google it and you'll get hundreds of results, just pick a good builder like IM Creator, Web Node, Jimdo and Site 123 to name a few. All these sites are mostly automated and you just have to register, pick a template and design it, all tools are available and you could build a site in minutes.

Building a website is easy, what's hard is the maintenance part. If you want good continuous traffic flow to your site then you must study basic SEO and Funnelling techniques.

The most important thing to remember is that you have to create and post good content in your site on a regular basis.

I think the best way to create a website and to manage it easily is to use WordPress. You will need to provide your own site hosting (there are many providers). WordPress is easy to set-up. It uses templates, some that you can find for free. You can start with a basic site.

The more you know about how to use WordPress, the better your site will be. It does require knowledge about how to use the themes and plug-ins, but once you understand how they are used, it's easy to change and modify your site. Also, they have a great forum and many support options that will help you if you have questions or run into problems.

I use WordPress to create sites. It's easy enough to teach the end users how to add and manage their site and content, but they have to want to. I tell the site owners that they have to be able to change and add content to your site to keep it fresh and relevant to your users.

There's many codes and tricks that can use to build a website. For me, it's difficult when your knowledge of making a website is too short. All of the types of the websites are needing a design and calculation, so there's no escape to do that stuff.

A simpliest website is also need a design and calculation, even there's no CSS or JavaScript, but you want create a website on a 'ready-to-create' sites like 'Wix.com', I think it is way easier, but that is different from making a website in your computer. Also websites are needing a server computer, that's why it is so expensive to provide, but that's not on topic. Anyway, we can also say, making a website is quite easier than before but it's maintenance is too hard, especially on runtime errors, so also I can say that we must have a enough knowledge to make a perfect website.

I don't think goal is to have a "perfect" website, as the website should evolve and change with available technology. I have had Weebly sites, Wix, I've used DreamWeaver and other webpage creating software. Those site now would not have links to social media, the ability to make appointments and other features that are now common place.

There is a learning curve to anything and if you plan to have a website, either plan to learn the technology or plan to pay someone else to manage and maintain.

Currently I'm using WordPress and there is a learning curve, but they have many tutorials and other learning options. If you want to manage your own website, I think this is a good way to go. Wix sites, and the like, are good but they have limited templates.
