I see to it that I sleep at least 7 hours per day. Enough sleep makes my mind alert. I can do more things in a day if I have a good sleep during the night. I can concentrate well. While lack of sleep makes me lousy. I am quite irritable too. I could not do my job well and even to the extent that I easily forget in so many ways. So, in order for me to have a 7-hour of sleep, I refrain eating chocolates and not drinking a cup of tea.

Sleeping is not just what we have urge for,I see it as an utmost necessity that helps in keeping the body, mind and soul well balanced because no matter how hard you try to fight it,you just must have a very sound rest/sleep except the body system may possibly break down and this will definitely lead to illness.Personally i will love to recommend at least a 6 hours uninterrupted sleep everyday.
Sleeping i say is a naturally need which if our human body doesn't get enough of it,the person will likely fall sick ,feel unstable and imbalanced and this could also affect the person's productivity in work place or even as student it could affect the student act of being focused because the body system at that point in time is not balanced.

In matters of fitness , for a normal and a healthy person , one should have eight good hours of sleep . There are some who sleep for four hours only a day which is also okay. Some issues needs one to sleep well to leave a room for brains and the whole body to have a proper rest. I used to sleep for four hours ,it was okay to me for I had enough time to work . It therefore depends on individual commitment or field of work.

Each person should sleep between 7 and 9 hours a day to ensure good health, but these hours are indicated for adults and should be adapted according to the age of each.

But more important than the amount of hours is the quality of these hours. So to sleep well you need a place that offers safety and tranquility to get a restful sleep that promotes well-being.

I sleep 7 or 8 hours a day normally, but if I sleep less than 7 hours I feel weak and without energy for the next day.

For me it varies. On average, 6 hours is an adequate amount. On days that I train harder my body needs more recovery time and usually requires a full 8 hours. There are also periods that I can run off of 4 hours of sleep. For me it all boils down to the level of recovery from the physical activity I endure during the day.

I suffer from insomnia so it is really difficult for me to sleep except I take pills to, I envy people who don't take pills to sleep like me and I get somehow jealous of them, I feel different from everyone else since I can't get normal sleep like everyone else it really does depresses me. I get the whole talk of if you don't sleep for certain hours your health not to crash, mine crash a whole lot and I wake up with this sleepy face.

One thing I know for sure by not getting good sleeps is the fact that your head hurts, my head hurts everyday from this, I always look drugged out or like someone who is about to fall, the first expression on my face when some one sees me is are you sleepy? This always gets me worried back then but now it doesn't. In cases of genetic disorder like mine sleeping rarely comes for people like me, this is not another tale of sleeping beauty stories people like me really do exist.

Eight hours is the average time I sleep for. I never sleep a lot more or less than that.
So I would say my sleeping schedule is pretty solid and healthy.

I sleep 6 hours per day and am used to that. My brother sleeps even for 9 hours but I have never seen any difference between me and him during day time. He claims that when he sleep for less than 8 hours he will be lousy during the day. I prefer sleeping for 8 hours is the best unless you have a tight work frame.

Sleep is very important for me, I know this because anytime I did not get enough sleep the night before I felt it the next day.
I need a minimum of seven hours sleep a night as anything less effect my mood and my creativity throughout the day.

Also, I really like to sleep and I feel rejuvenated after eight or nine hours of rest.

I would like to be able to take a siesta during the day but I can't seem to fall asleep. Napping through the day is supposed to be beneficial to health and people who take regular siestas usually live longer.

I most of the time try to sleep at least 8 hours, and that is what is recommended by some Doctors. I realize that when i have five hours or less of sleep, i normally have headache for some hours after waking up. So its better to have 8 hours of sleep or at least 6 hours.

In most of the time, I sleep for six to seven hours. From how I have accessed my body, a seven-hour sleep is important as it makes me feel refreshed and sharp in the morning. My concentration is good and I can focus on certain activities with much ease unlike those days when I take five or less hours or of sleep. Lack of enough sleep makes me loose concentration, sharpness and the overall understanding of things. During such a day, I always feel sleepy and tired which lowers my overall productivity. Although am currently sleeping for six to seven hours, I am trying to find a routine that will help me achieve an eight hour-sleep per day as this is the most recommendable time.

I had read online before now the importance of having at least an eight hour sleep and I have been practicing that for years now.

I think for good health and vitality daily one should rest well and take long hours at least 8 hours sleep which should be the minimum.

I try to get at least seven to eight hours of sleep each night. Not only do you need to rest your body, you need to rest your mind. I used to work with Neuroscience professors and one studied circadian rhythms, which has to do with sleep and the effects that it has on our bodies. If you don't get enough sleep, it messes with our cycles and can cause weight gain and other issues. When I heard about the weight gain, that was it for me! Also, getting enough sleep is vital to keeping your skin healthy and smooth. Skin rejuvenates overnight, so the longer the rest, the better.

I sleep more than eight hours a day. Sometimes, I sleep twelve hours in a day. The reason is the weakness of my mind and health. My mind is very weak and it get hurts easily. During my childhood, I have often suffered the bitter scoldings of my father due to which I went on loosing my confidence.

Gradually, I realised that I need good sleep in order to keep myself alive. The day I don't sleep properly for eight to ten hours, I start losing my memory and I feel weak even to stand properly. This is not any medical condition, though, I have observed that being too much sensitive is also not good.

5 - 6 hours. That's the range on the hours i sleep a day. Many recommends that one should sleep 8 hours a day but due to some factors one tend to sleep less hours. But still it's healthy.
