I use Google most of the time everyday. I search for a lot of information and I always get answers. If you can't find something on Google then it probably doesn't exist. It saves time and ensures efficiency. Google has become our radio, Tv , library and every other source of content we need to survive.

As far as I'm concerned, one can survive well without Google as it is more of a want than a need or basic necessity; people have lived without Google for centuries before Its invention.

That doesn't mean you can't have lives saved with the search results, especially from credible sites like Mayo Clinic, which is a health-based site. We should also keep in mind that the internet is an ocean of information, which includes the wrong one too. So just be careful.

Sure, you can survive without Google. All because they are the largest search engine on the Internet does't mean there aren't other options available out there. Other options include Bing, Yahoo, and Dog Pile, just to name a few. The results may be different from Google results but know if you like something better unless you try out something new.

For instance, I currently use the search engine Duck Duck Go and have done so for the past 6 months. Reason I decided to change was due to some things I read about Google manipulating their search results but as long as it's a private business, they can do whatever they want and I am free to use some other search engine if that's what I want to do. It comes down to freedom of choice.

There is no way I could survive without Google! I use it all the time. I use it to find something important and just to find something fun or interesting. I don’t know how anyone survived before Google was invented, but I’m really glad I live in a world with it. Google is my life!

I guess I would survive because there are many other search engines though I am hooked to google. For most of the searches I perform, I do them on google and almost anything I search I have always found it.

When I was a little, a new born or even a pre-primary student, I didn’t need Google to find my answers to the questions. My parents and my teachers were quite enough to quench my thirst of doubts, if I ever I had. I never needed Google that time to know that how to ask my Mom for meals :p

If we talk about today’s scenario, Google is important but it is not at all a necessity. The world was also running without Google. If we needed some information, we took help of media like newspapers, television, etc.

Yes, I can survive without Google. Reason being that it's not a human basic necessity. But bearing in mind that it is of great help in the current world. Not all current news and affairs are available in our televisions and news magazines. So it keeps me all the time updated on current world News. Also it's of great help to me especially in online businesses and Education matters.

Of course I could survive without google (the search engine) Google search is one of the easiest services to switch. There are several alternatives, like DuckDuckGo, Bing.

But I think it is unlikely that someone who uses the internet regularly lives without ALL google services like Youtube, Google Photos, Google Maps, Google Docs, Google Chrome, and Android Play store.

Technology evolves fast! I agree with what kaydee said, I think I can't survive without Google now. Google is one of the best tool to search for something that you do not know yet. Let us all accept, with one touch of our hands on the keyboards of our phone or laptop to search for something, the information is there. Google is one of the fastest ways to know about everything under the sun.

In terms of survival, a search engine is just not as critical as life necessities such as oxygen or water or food.

My parents know nothing about online searching and they turned out just fine. After all, people have alternatives when it comes to searching answers. Say, simply ask other people or read a book.

As for us, the “internet generation” , we have Google’s counterparts, Baidu, Bing, Yahoo, etc. They cover our daily basic needs, definitely.

Can I survive without Google? Of course - I survived quite nicely for quite a few years before Mr G came on the scene. Do I want to survive without Google (or some other search engine)? Not really. Finding the information I want is so much quicker and easier now than it used to be. Particularly when I was researching my book, being able to simply type in a question and have the answer at my fingertips instantly was a massive blessing.

These days, though, I have deserted Mr G, and instead use the Swagbucks search engine. I figure if I can get rewarded for something that I am going to do anyway, why not?

Hello there kaydee.I must admit,Google is a search engine that is key to finding information you need.It is hard without it,but you can survive easily without it.I must admit,I use Google on a daily basis of 2/3 hours. Thanks to Google,I found a lot of useful information as well as found a way to somehow spend my free time.

While a lot of people say it is possible to survive without it,I would say that i could manage to survive 2 days max without using it.

Literally yes, if it is all about google. But now a days many of us are now relying in the power of Google has. The rapid growth of technology and the human itself makes Google to be more effective and efficient. Our thirst for knowledge is what makes Google to be more in demand. Thirst for knowledge leads us to use google more often to find what we are looking for. Google has almost everything we need, it is not only for researching and studying big or confidential files, but its scope even reaches the smallest and simplest things in this world. Google have it all. Truly Google makes our daily life easier, but I believe that there are more services or source on the internet aside from google that we can use in our researches and studies. Google is just a tool, it's just like a big database of data that we can pull out whenever we need it. What makes the Google amazing is still us human, who developed and keeps feeding google extensive information. The more knowledge we input on Google the more Google becomes more useful and effective to us.

I guess I could survive without Google because there are so many other Search Engines out there, but I feel that Google has been optimized so much for ease of use that it would make it very difficult on other people to switch or just get rid of it. Bing has been making moves though and their Search Engine has been getting optimized a ton to compete with Google.
