I love watching Korean dramas. It is really entertaining. Each story gives us a lot of lessons and tackles mostly about family, friends, love and life in general. My all time favourite K-dramas are Healer, Goblin, K2 and Coffee Prince.

Me too. I love watching Korean dramas. I got hooked when I watch my first Korean Drama Go Family book starring Lee Sung Gi and Bae Suzy. After that, all Sung Gi's drama, I watched. I think I already watched less than 50 Kdramas since then. My current favorite is Goblin, Korean Odessy and Strong woman Do bong Soon. I actually repeated watching those three since I really love them. I also watched all dramas Lee Jong Suk stars in, Pinochio, Doctor Stranger, W two Worlds, While you were Sleeping, Can you hear me, and Hot bloods. I'm a big fan of Lee Sung Gi and Lee Jong Suk. I even enrolled in a Korean class so that I can learn to understand korean language. Watching kdramas with subtitles is sometime hard. Now, I can understand some korean phrases. Watching Kdramas also help in my Korean lessons. Anyway, I'm just an Kdrama addict. When you really hooked in you can't stop unliking it.

Korean Drama are so popular in this generation. Most of the young adults and teenagers are hook to korean dramas. And I'm absolute one of them.

Language barrier is not a hindrance for me. I watch korean dramas with english subtitles. Though watching a movie while reading the subtitle is challenging, it is still okay to me because I love the stories and the actors so much. My most favorite Korean Drama is Goblin. It is a story about an ancient General who killed a lot of King's enimies during his time. Despite of being a loyal servant of the King, people slaughter him because they believe he is a traitor and big treat to the kingdom. To make the story short, the Goblin was punished by God. And he needs to find The Goblin's Bride to be forgiven. This Drama is so popular in our country. Everybody knows it. The actor Gong Yoo.

Because of my addiction to Korean Dramas, I started learning Hangul and basic Korean Vocabulary. So in the future I don't need to read the subtitle while watching.

O! yes. I love watching loving Korean drama. I think I started watching around 2012. Ever since I've watched several of their series, series like Iris, Athena: Goddess of war, Young Pal Six Flying Dragon, Jumong, and others. The recent one I watched was Moon lover. The series is very interesting, there was a scene I strongly felt and wanted to cry.

However, I would have loved if I understood their language, watching their movie would have been more exciting. The language barrier is an issue, I always have to use subtitle before watching any Korean film. And subtitle sometimes misleads a viewer by paraphrasing the actors' words. If paraphrased, it sometimes kills the intensity and feels a particular scene is trying to convey.

I am actually quite hooked up watching Korean Drama to the point that I even dream of some scenes at night. I have 2 kids who are only 10 and 12 years old and they watch it with us most of the time especially fantasy and comedy dramas. With the help of subtitles, I think it helped my children to read fast so they can comprehend with the story. K-dramas are very accessible now since video streaming sites have made foreign television and film more readily available. I personally watch K-dramas and movies depending on the storyline. I love action-packed films, medical, and vampire-related dramas. I noticed that the length of new dramas nowadays has become shorter, like only 16-30 episodes compared in the past wherein dramas would have 60-80 episodes. During that time, I had an addiction watching Jumong and spent a week of sleepless nights and zombie mode during the day because of binge watching. K-dramas just have this addictive property that makes you want to keep on watching till your eyes pop out. Oftentimes, the cliffhanger endings of every episode make me very excited to watch the next one. In my opinion, K-dramas have successfully created emotional connections with people. Most dramas include very attractive actors and actresses. Young people can watch it because we seldom hear foul language, violence is minimal, kissing scenes are subtle and love scenes are rare. We also learn some Korean words like saranghe, oppa, omma, miyane, ganshamnida, et cetera. Don't mention the mouth-watering food they eat during the scenes that would make me salivate and make me want to eat Korean spicy noodles. If you are a Korean Drama fanatic, you have to watch My Love from another Star, Jumong, Gu Family Book, Faith, Doctors, Pinocchio, Yong Pal and a lot more.

I am an avid fan of Korean Dramas. Once I start watching one, I literally can't stop until I am able to finish it. What has drawn me to join in the Korean drama obsession is that these kind of dramas are very effective in creating social and emotional connection to viewers. Aside from the fact that Korean actors and actresses are really beautifully eye-catching, they are also very good in expressing all kinds of emotion. Korean Dramas are also of known for amazing soundtracks and beautiful scenery. One of my favorite is Queen Seondeok which is a 62 episode historical drama. It is one of the longest one but still its story is solid and the characters were well built.

Yes! My first encounter with Korean dramas wasn't the best. I started off with Boys Before Flowers but found the show too monotonous for me so it didn't really draw my attention. Luckily I didn't give up on the genre, as I found one of my favorite shows soon after that first encounter. That one was called Marry Me, Mary! which isn't a very popular title, I believe. Still, I thought it to be highly entertaining and it remains one of my favorites to this day.

I find that most of the Korean dramas I watch fall within the romantic comedy genre, they seem to speak to me the most. Whenever I come across Korean dramas of other genres I usually disregard them because I feel they won't fit my tastes. Now that I've watched a lot of similar shows however, I'd like to branch out a bit. Is there anyone here who could give me some recommendations for any of the other genres?

    Ofcourse.
I'm actually addicted to it, it isn't just me but my whole family. Watching Kdramas became one of our favorite bonding aside from movies, eating and jamming. A lot of my friends have been teasing me about it because they find it funny and corny to watch those kinds of stuffs. Even though they have been judging me I still keep watching it and I don't care what they would think of me because this is my life and I do whatever I want and I won't stop just because other people hate it.
Right now, I'm stopping a bit to avoid being distracted at school because I need to know my priorities and I will just watch if I achieved something to reward myself for doing my best.

Oh yes! I do! I watch them alot and all the time. I can say I am addicted to them . I enjoy learning the language as well while reading the subtitles. I mostly like the mystery genre in it as well but also comedy is good as well.

Yes! I definitely watch korean dramas online. My favorite korean dramas are Doctors, Goblin, Voice and War of the son. Doctors is a story of a woman who avenge her grandmother's death due to her surgeon that intentionally made a mistake. The granddaughter used her intelligence and studied to become a doctor and eliminate the surgeon who was the President of the Hospital.

Goblin is a story of a great warrior thousands of years ago that was cursed by gods to become an immortal Goblin and the only way to kill him is by pulling the sword that was stuck in his heart by a girl who is destined for her. Along with the his friend, the Grim Reaper, they protected the destined girl to all violent ghosts.

Voice is a story of a girl who has the ability to hear distant sounds that a normal human can not hear. She used this as a way to avenge her father's death against this psychotic killer who brutally kills his victim with his hammer. Lastly, War of the son is a story of a man who was blessed with a photographic memory, he used this to become a lawyer and prove his father's innocence. For me these are my top 4 and I would love to watch it again if I have some time.

I tried to watch some Korean dramas under the influence of one of my friends. As a K-pop fan, I thought it might be interesting to see if I could pick up some Korean phrases. Unfortunately, I find that the acting skills of most of the dramas I've watched are subpar (in my non-professional opinion). I also think that they're honestly just too cheesy and fluffy--no K-dramas are really emotionally shaking or suspenseful, and after a while, all their different plots all blend into one mash of melodrama.

I watch them. Even though I hate mainstream shows, I just felt like I want to watch them because everyone I know watch them. Even my cousin who I didn't thought would watch them as well. Korean dramas are good. My sister used to watch them when she was younger before it even got mainstream. I watched a few kdramas last year and this year but I always end up not finishing them. The last episodes seems too boring and that is the problem with me when I watch kdramas.

    I love watching Korean dramas!

I remember waiting for subtitled copies to be released at set dates by fan translators back when streaming services like Netflix didn't exist yet. If you were lucky, you could probably find a link to a site with a decently subbed episode. The owners of the website would often delete and reupload though, so it was a bit of a hassle to find complete shows unless you were willing to download.

Nowadays, I prefer watching from Netflix since the quality of the subs usually don't disappoint. It has a lot of the mainstream series, too! I'll probably use the rest of my New Year's break finishing up 'Hwarang' before classes and work resume.
