Which Genre movie do you like the most?

I think am graduating into SCI-FI now. Before I liked the action more.

 

My favorite genres are drama/romantic ones.
I guess I'm a romantic person and maybe that's why I enjoy so much watching these kind of genres. I love when I see two people going through hard times and in the end they are still together. I don't see this in real life so frequently and I like to feed my soul with hope. Maybe the world can change.

 

My favorite genre when it comes on choosing a movie to watch is romance or chick flicks. I know it sounds common to others but I really love watching movies which genre is romance. I also asked myself why I prefer romance themed movies. But after hours of contemplating I realized that romance themed movies are giving me 4 lessons on how to do deal with everything, in real life.

1. Romance movies gives me the idea of how messed up and chaotic our life might be and you just have to get used to it and get over with it. Because that's life.
2. When it comes on having relationships, it gave me hints and tips on how to dwell and survive if a relationships become toxic and so problematic.
3. It made me believe that lifetime and forever really do exists. It might not be on our partners, but with God and our family it possible.
4. As love always forgives, it teaches me a lesson to not to lose hope, be kind & have courage and accept that everything happens for a reason and move on.

 

I am in a dilemma between comedy and action as both are awesome. At the end of a stressful week a comedy would be awesome. I would watch an action movie if I feel like I need motivation to accomplish a goal. It inspires me to overcome fear and all. Both are great as it depends on the type of mood I am in to determine which one is my favorite.

 

Of all the genres available I go for fantasy. I feel like the fantasy genre broadens my imagination of what might have been or could be while being transported to a world of impossibilities. It is an escape from the routine and boredom of our daily lives and allows me to just reach the edge of imagination

 

I prefer the horror movies. Since I saw IT and Annabelle the horror became the best movie gender. That sensation you have when you know something bad is gonna happen is priceless. I also like action movies like "Suicide Squad"(my favourite movie).

 

I like supernatural horror/ thriller films. I'm interested in things that don't make sense like hauntings and evil spirits. I like The 6th Sense, Pulse, Annabelle and The Exorcism of Emily Rose. The Cabin in The Woods had great storyline and effects.

 

My favorite genre of movies in definitely horror. I'm not sure why, but I love the adrenaline rush and pounding heart that comes with a really well-timed jump scare. My favorite horror movie has to be the new Poltergeist. I just felt like it was directed really well and pretty hardcore for a movie rated PG-13. I highly recommend Poltergeist and the whole Horror genre in general.

 

I prefer to watch Action or Thriller movies as it stimulates different parts of my brain.

Actually, all movies are good as it breaks away from the monotonous tasks of daily life

 

I just watch movie and I don't care what type of movie is I am going to watch. Sometimes I read reviews but most of the time I watch movie without reading reviews and looking what kind of movie it is. Maybe I just want to have my own review on the movie I just watch. For me it wasn't important as long as you like the movie and you enjoy watching it.

 

I like to watch historical romance movies which lately I find to be so romantic and interesting to watch! I also like mysteries and comedy movies but it's definately the historical romance movies that catch my attention!!! You can find them all over on the web and I really like how the characters dress and the old school way of life. With a good story line and plot I spend my free time just watching these movies. I wish I was somehow in that time period but these movies really show how important it is to have a good upbringing and a good family because without that, it seems like you'd have to be a servant or maid and really that's depressing to me. I know that the good rich families are always well off and respected and it is so nice to see how the dukes and gentlemen courted the ladies of the time. Really, historical romances are nice to watch!

 

Sci-Fi is the new trending movie genre as most of the writers have kind of shifted towards it. It involves action, thriller and some comedy too.

 

I like action and thriller movies. Action movies are so entertaining and i think they got the best scenes. Thriller movies elicit a hightened feeling of suspense and excitement giving you so much anxiety.

 

I like to watch movies that have more on fantasy genre because I like seeing a vast world with a variety of races. Also this genre usually consist of plot twist and mystery that's why I get so hooked up into it. I seldomly see a movie in this kind of genre sucks because these kind of movies are one of the top notch at the moment.
Though we have different taste in things we must also explore some aspects because we may never know if we will like it much more or not.

 

For me , It doesn't matter what genre they belong to what matters most is the story and how it was presented.
I believe that no matter how good the actors are and how expensive the budget for making the movie if the story is dull and boring.It will never be a good one. It is through the story the movie goers can connect to what the movie is conveying to us.
I like also to see reviews of the said movie before I watch it so that it will meet my expectations whether what type of movie it is.

 

I am very fond of watching movies related to time travelling like Pre-destination, Project Almanac, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Interstellar and Arrival. These movies will make you wonder if time really exists in the first place or it is just a product of our imagination.

Imagine living in a world without the concept of time where there will be no beginnings or endings. You can travel to any year or era you want to correct the pasts or change the future. Mind-boggling, right?

 

I enjoy movies based on real life experiences.

Most recently I watched, "A Beautiful Mind" directed by Ron Howard.

I can't remember the name of the leading actor for the life of me. It will come to me when I least expect it. His portrayal of John Nash was phenominal though!

All of the actors in that movie were very believable. That is very important to me. If the actors aren't believable, I have a hard time sitting through that film.

 

Even though I love watching romantic movies, I will still choose horror movies because they give me a different kind of thrill that I can't experience with romantic ones.
Also, watching movies give me too much feelings that I tend to forget that I have my own problem in real life. For me Horror movies are like alcoholic beverages that let me escape from my problems even just for a while and everytime someone dies in the story I realize that I am more lucky not to experience that ugly death.

 

Too numerous to mention! I would go with comedy, adventure, action and horror. I love all sorts of genres but these are my pick.

 

I love thriller and horror movies and my favorite movie is Carrie with Sissy Spacek. Most recently was last year, when I watched the movie Kidnap on youtube starring Halle Berry, I was astounded and surprised from that film. A log time ago, ABC tv showed a movie that night called The Flowers In The Attic, back in the 1990's, and it was a very scary movie that I will never forget because the siblings were mistreated by a parent. As I watching Flowers In....., I pondered about the fact that my childhood was nothing like that movie and when the children were locked in and starved for a period of time, I felt like I was being starved and beaten, I could sympathize with them because they were so smart. The kids in the film escaped the abuse of those parents, they were smart enough to figure out how to sneak out of that demon possessed attic.
