    Google says that graphic design means"the art or skill of combining text and pictures in advertisements, magazines, or books". I didn't know what this meant and if this is accurate then now I know. I hope you now know too. I hope this helped you.

    Graphic design is the process of creating digital images. That means anything you create on a computer: when you use Paint, for example, or a PowerPoint, you're making a graphic design. Things like photographs or drawing done on paper, and then scanned and uploaded, are not graphic design.

    If you're not sure if something was graphically designed, think about whether or you would imagine someone using pen and paper to create it, or using some kind of imaging software. The former is traditional design, while the second is graphic design. Now, I have an interest in graphic design, but no formal training so this might not be totally correct. However, this is based on knowledge I've been gathering for about seven years, so I would think I have a pretty good idea!
