For me, I prepared to watch Horror movies. My wife and I always watch movies at night before we go to sleep. We both love horror movies like Night of the Living Dead, especially my wife. She said horror movies are not boring unlike romantic movies, that is what she said. For me, most of the romantic movies always make me sleep. I don't know about you guys, but I really do get sleepy every time I watch romantic movies.

I like horror movies because it keeps me alive and thrilled. I want to feel if it really scares me. Sometimes, I am not affected with the scene. The sound effect also adds flavor to the movie. I remember, a movie entitled "The Exorcist" that was really scary. I can feel it's intensity and the cinematic effect absolutely stunning. I am well entertained with horror film.

Both! It really depends on my mode because I like both genres. Usually, I watch horror movies at night before I sleep it is a perfect time to watch a horror movie turning off all the lights and just sit watching is amazing. Romantic movies have its perfect time too I just can't choose one genre over the other.

I was never a fan of Romance movies but Horror movies have always been my favorite. Ever since I was a child there was just something about these movies that keeps me hooked on them. My brothers would view my interest in horror movies as bizarre. I even find them to be more funny than comedies. These movies don't scare me. I just find them intriguing. Romance movies on the other hand are definitely not my taste.

I prefer watching horror movies especially at night to keep me on whenever am just bored from work. I do enjoy them too to scare off my wife whom fears a lot not only of movies but also of small insects. Yeah I do love horror and if I were to act, I bet on horror movies.

I am not into horror movies, so I would choose the romantic movie. I am a real man, but romantic movies really touch my heart. Romantic movies can make me cry in tears because I am adapting the emotions of the actor or actresses in the movie that I am watching. And crying doesn't mean you are not a man, its just you really touched by that romantic movie.

I choose romantic movies. I am not a fan of horror movies. I am afraid of horror movies. With romantic movies, you want to fall in love again. You get nightmares when you watch horror movies. You even usually get afraid of the dark. You don't like anymore to go to secluded places. you imagine that what you have watched in the movies will aslo happen to you. Its better not to look at horror movies.

For me , it is horror movies all the way. Having a good , captivating , heart pumping scary movie is actually a really invigorating experience(for me at least). I always feel much better after seeing a good spooky film. The scariest , more mind-blowing , crazier , the better. Some Japanese movies are actually good at producing that eerie , horror that i like.Watching a good one like that, with company (so i can maybe scare them a little )and a snack is the best night-er ever.

Romantic movies on the other side , I find pretty boring. It's too much crying and i find them too predictable for my liking. Also quite weirdly, a romantic movie is more likely to make me feel anxious or in a bad mood than a horror movie after seeing it.

I'm not a fan of horror movies, but I appreciate ones that have really interesting concepts such as Get Out, mother! and A Quiet Place. I'm all for films that like to play with my mind, and the ones that respect me as an intelligent viewer. And while I don't get that from most romantic films, I get drawn, instead, to the blossoming of a relationship, or how humans figure each other out. Both genres offer works of art that are worth my time, so I guess I don't have to pick either of the two.

I am not a fan of horror movie, since I get easy scared. So I prefer watching romantic movies, than horror movies. Although, I watch horror movie every now and then, I don't really enjoy it that much. Unlike, watching romantic movies, especially romantic comedy movies. Romantic/Romcom movies are really entertaining for me, because it will teach us how to love and how to fight for those people we love.

I'm not a huge fan of either genre, but if I were forced to, I would pick romantic movies.

Ever since I was a little girl I have been easily frightened. Therefore, horror movies are not usually on my "to-do list". If I am forced to sit through one, it is usually through partially covered eyes and/or plugged ears.

I am not an overly sappy kind of person either. I don't usually buy into the hype of happily ever after. But I can appreciate the light hearted feeling that accompanies most romantic movies.

My answer depends on whom i'm watching it with. If I am to watch with my mother, I will definitely choose Romantic movies because we jive and she does not like wayching horror movies. One time I watched horror, she just walked away and do some chores, in the end I am the only one who enjoyed.
If I happen to watch with my father, I will definitely go with horror, action and fantasy because we share common ideas or feelings with those genres and I think he enjoy seeing me scream when his face did not change a bit, still poker face.

This is a hard question for me because I love both. If I had to choose, I would definitely pick horror movies because I think that there is much more variety and always leave me wondering what will happen next. Romantic movies can get a little repetitive and copy the same themes. There are many excellent romantic movies, but, they are similar to each other and usually, all have the same predictable endings.

I prefer romantic movies rather then horror movies. Horror movies are often unreal, impossible in reality, and many of them are pretty predictable. Also, they are not scary to me, but they have a bad effect on my mood. I would rather watch something that makes me happier.
Romantic movies are, on the other hand, pretty real. It is something that happens everyday in real life, so you can easily feel the emotions. Personally, I enjoy romantic movies much more.

I have always been drawn to darker subjects and love unsettling and uncomfortable aesthetics, so horror has a lot of the dark and twisty grittiness that I enjoy. I’m also not a very emotional/emotive person, but horror makes me feel something. I like the feeling of dread and anxiety that it gives me. It’s exciting, it’s a rush.

I honestly prefer the horror genre for movies. Most of the romances that are depicted on the big screen tend to feel inorganic. Although both romance and horror tend to have a predictable formula, the latter is more visually impressive for me. Romances tend to try to dress things up in a pretty picture, letting people live vicariously through the actors and actresses. It attempts to connect with real life, playing on the wistfulness of people who may be wishing that life worked like that.

Horror, I find, is a far more honest genre to enjoy. You can immerse yourself in the story for the run time of the movie, and still extricate yourself from the narrative.

There's also that visceral thrill that comes with the exploration of the unknown.

I prefer romantic! I don't like horror movies as I think they are impossible and useless. I don't feel anything like horrifying or something. I just feel like I wasted my precious time watching this nonsense movies. And on the other side, I love romantic ones as they are very sweet and heart-touching. I love the way it makes people's hearts soften.

I also prefer to watch Horror Movies as well, especially at Night Time. I prefer them so much more than Romantic Movies. In comparison, I think that Romantic Movies, are more-so, for individuals who(m) are Dreamy Thinkers, and also Love-Needy. Since I have never been that way, I am not personally into Romantics. And definitely not into Romantic Comedies either. So basically,I would have to indicate here, that Horror Movies, are the kind of Movies, which really gets the Blood Pumping ! Although I am never scared of watching them by myself. I always tend to think of them at Night Times, while I am in my Bed. Usually with all of the lights off, for my last awakened moments. Without any Nightstand Light on nor anything like that. "And then Boom", "all of a sudden it hits me"... Then I really get the best out of watching the most recent Horror Movie, because it gives me a lingering intensed feeling. A feeling that I may also be victim, to what the victims in the Horror Movie, had experienced. And then I feel that thrill, then of course wake up to the next morning, to live yet another Terrifying Horror Movie Day.
