This movie might be decades back but Rocky can still belong among the top sport movies to this day. Stirring boxing film about the rags to riches story of a once nobody who became a somebody in the ring against the heavyweight champ with nothing more than the guts and determination and those who stood behind him throughout the entire ordeal. Who wouldn’t get inspired by this young athlete that trained and worked himself into a championship caliber boxer to fight the fight of his life? This movie is a true winner in all elements from the script, setting, and music score that won not only the hearts but the respect of the whole boxing world as well as the world itself. That being said, it is a sport movie where you don’t need to be a boxing fan to get your heart lifted. I don’t care what others say but Stallone is true to his craft.

My Favorite sport movie has to be "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" from Bollywood. A truly inspiring story of an legendary Indian athlete struggling with ups and down of a sportsperson's life.

Going against the grain, I would have to say my favorite sports movie is Friday Night Lights. Based off a book, I love how the movie not only depicts competitive Texas football but it also finds a small way to relate to teenagers about growing up and dealing with responsibilities, even if it is on the football. I'm also a sucker for anything that has to deal with taking a look at the football atmosphere in Texas.

Remember the Titans is my all time favorite sports movie. It is based on the true story the Titans football team which was one of the first ever to have a multiracial team. I have loved it since it came out when I was a kid. It is family friendly and has such a good story behind it. A lot of the actors have gone on to be very successful such as Hayden Panettiere and Ryan Hurst.

I do love sports movies. My favorite is "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag". It's a biopic about an Indian 400m athlete, who rose from a war torn place to become an Olympic champion. A must watch for all runners. Still gives me the shivers.

My favorite sports movie is a choice between the Rocky franchise and the classic football movie "Rudy". Both sets of movies have a theme of the underdog working hard and overcoming great odds. Obviously Rocky was a boxer but he was not the most talented or quickest boxer bbut he had more heart than anyone and I think that speaks to every human being because we all face obstacles. The same is true for "Rudy". What is great about Rudy is that it was based on a true story!

I was a huge "Rocky" fan when the movies first came out. I remember actually sitting up on Oscar night, and pulling for the first "Rocky" movie to win "Best Picture". Now, though, when I really think about it, I have to go with "Remember the Titans". There is just something about the Cinderella aspect of the movie that really draws me to it. I also think the characters, from the coaches, to the players did a terrific job. The racial tension that was present among all of them was very accurate for that location and time period. I have probably seen it five or six times, and just thinking about it now makes me want to see it again!

I have to say that my favorite sports movie would have to be The Longest Yard. They were in prison and somehow the retired football player got a team together and they beat the prison guards. And when he was blackmailed for his friend murder in prison, he did the right thing and didn't mess with the points like he had done years before and got kicked off the football team.

I don't like sports period. I remember seeing a football game and seeing men run up and down the field and not knowing what in tarnation was going on. One sports movie that I do like is 42. It is the story of Jackie Robinson and his rise to fame in the baseball world. It is by far my favorite. Rocky, any given sunday, the longest yard, and remember the titans are good but 42 was the best.

I love cars so my favorites have something to do with car racing. I watched all installments of The Fast and the Furious and I loved everything. I also love Herbie - a little bit of a chick flick movie but a few guys would surely love it. Need for Speed 1 and 2 are also great ones. However, my favorite is The Rush. It is a Formula 1 racing movie based on a true story.

I would've to say my favorite sport movie is Love and basketball. This movie I cant truly relate too being a basketball player myself. Just having the love for the sport. I think the best mistake in the movie is getting distracted by another sex and forgetting who you are for the moment.

I'm not a sports fan, but Chariots Of Fire blew me away. A remarkable true story, about the 1926 Olympics in Paris. The tension on the races was incredible. On top of that there's the Vangelis soundtrack. It's wonderful stuff.

Here is some of my list hope you like them Mighty Ducks I've already forgot how many sequels are they so if you watched them from young in to their teenager stage from rookie until they reached the olympics. How could you forget the quack sound Coach Bombay doing to motivate his team. Next is the Miracle 2004 hockey team which is mold to success and this movie is a true story so I highly recommend especially for those people like leadership stuff.
