This is a question that I always think about on a daily basis: am I ready to lose weight? Am I ready to exercise? Am I ready to change?

I would love to be ready all the time to change my appearance through exercise, but I am unsure of when that "ready" will be. I go through sporadic moments where I will go to the gym for a couple days in a row and then disappear from gym life for two months. Does that mean I wasn't ready?

Is anyone else going through the same see-saw of exercise? How do you know when you're truly ready? Any tips or "aha" moments that you'd like to share?

Weight loss requires you to be in the right mindset. you need to be ready to change, motivated and determined if you want to lose weight.

As I write this post, I am in the process of losing weight. So far, I have lost 42 pounds. I have another 50 to lose. I must admit, it is a lot of work for me because I love to cook and eat. My challenge is being consistent. I am really interested in Yoga. I think it might help me to become more focused. I agree with jack888, you have got to have the right mindset. Losing weight is one thing. Keeping it off is another thing altogether.
