Why do I listen to music? I listen to music because it brings me comfort and calms me down when I need it. Music also brings forth a sense of nostalgia especially when a music from your childhood suddenly starts playing and all the memories that were imbued with that music are happy ones. The simple answer is I listen to music because it makes me happy.

I think 98 percent of the population in a global scale listens to music everyday despite of their reasons why they listen to music. I am one of them, I listen to music everyday and actually I am listening to 50 cents Go shorty, It's your birthday rap song, it gives me the hype to write quality contents here in forum wheel. Music makes me feel different types of emotions in just 1 day and that's what I am addicted to. I listen to music because it gives me the energy or the capacity to do a tiring work, for me music absorbs my laziness and gives me the enough energy to work everyday.

For me, music can bring me to my treasured memories in life. In just one song, I can be sad or happy and also it gives me back the emotion I had to my past memories in life. I listen to music because it relaxes my body especially my brain, we all know that brain functions 24/7 so for me music is one of the reason my brain can have its rest.

I listen to music because it speaks to my soul in a way that nothing else can. Music makes it easy for me to relate with other people feelings. It just relaxes my mind and takes me to a world where I am comfortable being me.

It also makes it easy to express emotions in circumstances where mere words won’t do me justice.

I can't even imagine life without music. Almost every significant event in my life has had music. Some of them have been a soundtrack, and sometimes an instigator of my changes. Discovering punk rock in my teens, for example, was a molotov cocktail to my psyche. and also The right music can get me energized, or calm my anxiety, or lift my crappy mood. Music is an important part of my daily life.

I listen to music whenever I feel sad. I often have a hard time expressing myself even when I'm alone so even though I'm sad, it's hard for me to cry. Music sets the mood and helps me cry and pour my heart out. Music helps me be honest to myself. Eventually, the sad songs on repeat will lose their effect, dries the tears away, and helps me cheer up.

I think everyone of us loves music. Music has become a universal language, other than English all throughout the ages. Whatever genre there is, music has a special place in everyone's life.

I listen to music because I enjoy it, and I believe that music heals. People who go through hard times rely on music that heals their hearts. With a melody that's so relaxing, there's nothing more perfect than a music that makes you calm. Music gives inspiration, with the lyrics that a composer puts forth in a song, many people are moved and are inspired to continue on living, achieve their dreams and go up when they hit rock bottom. Music makes you dance, as years go buy, music genres are evolving, thus, different dance hits are born. Music can make a person groove involuntarily, that's the magic that we can't really explain, but we are loving it. Lastly, music can be your best friend, we have to admit that we have used music at some point in our lives when we were socially awkward or when we want to be alone. Music has been there for us, to keep us company and make us feel that we are not alone. We just put our headsets on and go through the playlist to bring our "best friend" up.

They say that too much of everything is bad, but I always believe that too much of your love for music will never be bad. Music is a gift that everyone of us can enjoy and we hope that the future generation can enjoy music as much as we enjoy them before and now.

I listen to music because often times it will get me in the state of mind I need to be in. I tend to listen to different music based on if I am trying to wake up, be motivated or need to bring some color into my day.

This is interesting because I don't normally think too much about why I listen to music. I enjoy the background noise of having music playing. Usually, I'm more of a fan of the lyrics of music and will listen to really bad sounding music just because the lyrics are particularly moving. Someone else mentioned that it helped them relate more to their emotions, and that definitely plays into why I like music as well.

My day is not complete without listening to music. I am not sure but I find it as a necessity to do so. It gives me the goosebumps which I need to satisfy my senses as a listener. I am very amaze of those people who are good at singing or making music through instruments or other devices which can make beautiful sound. Whenever I close my eyes while listening, I see colors dancing in my mind. It sounds weird but it makes me feel relaxed and satisfied.

I dearly love music because it many powerful effects. First of all, music has positive physical effects. It can produce direct biological changes, such as reducing heart rate, blood pressure, and cortisol levels. I can clap my hands and stomp my feet in reaction to music.

Second, studies suggest that exposure to pro social lyrics increases positive thought, empathy, and helping behavior. The message in a lyric such as we shall be victorious may be able to reach more people than all of the psychotherapists in the world combined. It is because positive words are very powerful.

Third, music is a connecting experience. Somebody was well known for his use of the sing-along, and he made his goal of building communities explicit, saying, the idea of using music to try to get the world together is now all over the place. Research clearly demonstrates that improved social connection and support can improve mental health outcomes. Thus, any music that helps connect people can have a profound impact on an individual’s mental health.

Lastly, music can be used to connect us to the spiritual world. It can usher us into the presence of God. Music is popularly and widely used in the churches. Heaven I believe is filled with music. God created Lucifer as the one in charge of music in heaven. But the problem is he boasted of himself and rebelled against God. Music is good if done in a proper way.

I listen to music because it can describe the feelings that I sometimes cannot describe. Sometimes, they lyrics speak to me and I can relate to them or they can uplift me and help me to feel better. It also makes me extremely happy to hear the calming, familiar voice of some of my favorite artists. Music can help me feel like I belong. With the way that some of the songs make you feel like they are speaking directly to you, it can help you get lost in your head and forget about the real world for a while.

Music can also help boost my mood when I am already extremely happy. Listening to upbeat, fun music helps me to continue with my happy thoughts and feelings. It is an amazing feeling to just instantly smile while your jamming out to an amazing song.

In conclusion, I listen to music because it helps me mentally and emotionally. It always lifts me up and makes me feel not as along. It helps to bring a smile to my face and fills my body with pure happiness. Finding new music and revisiting old songs really does make your heart happy.

Music is the greatest communication in our nation or in the world even not all people can understand the language that we're singing in,we still know and understand the good music what is it mean when we hear it in many places or where ever we go. Without music life is bored and incomplete. The true essence or beauty of the music is that it connects the hearts and minds of the people . It brings a message what the musician brings about the songs.

Music has always been a huge part of my life. I started listening as a young child to have fun with my neighborhood friends dancing, singing and putting on "shows" for our families. As I got older I began to realize that I could relate to the lyrics in many songs. Relating to something, anything at that point in my life was crucial. I was going through rough times and many times it would l bring me out of my funk. To that end I will always be grateful.

Now as an adult music still lifts my spirits. One of the greatest pleasures in my life on a nearly daily basis is getting to see my kids faces light up when they hear new music that they love and watching them perform their own shows in our own living room!

We all can't deny that music is a significant part of our lives. Some listen to music just because they like the beat, others relate to the songs in a deeper way that often has a connection with the listener's personal experiences. Some use music as a stress or painkiller, while others use it whether to cheer up or to get in touch with their sad feelings.

Personally, as a former emo kid, music means so much to me. Listening to my favourite bands still helps me trhough my teenage years, which aren't over now and which haven't been easy so far. So I can definitely state - music saved, saves me and will save me forever.

Music is something that I cannot imagine my life without. It wakes me up in the morning, it puts me to sleep at night, it can bring me up when I'm down, it can make me cry tears of joy, but it can also drown me in sadness. Good choice of music can intensify the situation at least 10 times.

I am in constant search of something new and different and there are literally no limits to the wide palette of sounds, especially with the technology available nowadays. There is no bigger joy for me than to discover something new that I'm going to listen on repeat for the next couple of days.

Music is not just simply music. Music has its own language it communicates. Whenever I listen to music, it feels like I am listening to another language that sometimes enhance my feelings. It is like the music is listening to your thoughts as well instead of just you listening to the music.
