Ever since I was a kid, I've been very interested in paganism and the many religions that it offers. My attention has always mostly gone to Wicca, although I never formally joined. For a long time I lost interest as other aspects of my life demanded more attention, but it always seems to find its way back to me. Now that I'm starting to grow a little older I'm getting back into my research again, reading all kinds of books on the subject.

As I've always been mostly interested in Wicca, I haven't read a whole lot about the other aspects of paganism. So, I was wondering, are there any other Pagans here and what kind of path are you involved with?

I posted earlier today about being a Pagan and so far I haven't found any others. Being a Pagan isn't just a choice. Like you don't just wake up one day and think gee I'm going to become a Pagan today. It's nothing like that. I felt uncomfortable and out of place with the religions of my parents so I began looking into others and when I found Paganism I finally felt happy, comfortable, and at peace for once. Through finding what was right for me I've become a happier and better person.

I personally believe everyone has their own beliefs on how things work and what is right and what is wrong. When looking into religions, you should take these beliefs and find something that backs them up. Religion does not have to be super strict; you can find a religion and use the general ideas and practices but change them to fit your ideas and lifestyle.

I personally identify with Wicca. Wicca itself is not a very strict religion. Instead of believing in and honoring many specific dieties, I believe in and honor the universe. There are also other aspects I have changed to form to more personal ideas.

I am, I'm an Atheist, there are an estimated 10,000 distinct religions worldwide and I don't think I can pick one and convince myself that's the right one and that I'll be safe.
I understand that having a religion is really good for your mental health but I can't fool myself into thinking that my religion is the one, and all other religions are wrong, it's just weird for me to think that.

However, I always respect people with different beliefs and cultures, I keep my thoughs to myself in order to don't offend those near me.

I'm not a pagan but I'm an Atheist instead, and i find every religions and belief's fascinating. I just couldn't get myself to admit into a religion because there's always a loophole somewhere.
