Are abs a sign of body fitness?

    This is highly debatable but for me having abs is one of the signs of great body fitness and health. This is because workouts highly result to loss of body fat leading to abs.

    Well i guess it depends, i know a few people that have abs but that's just because they're skinny, and then there's these people thank can crank out a few crunches and have chiseld abs thanks to their genetics. So personally i don't find abs to be a sign of body fitness. Real signs of fitness can be endurance (how long you can perform a certain exercise), Strength (your ability to accomplish heavily demanding exercises) and explosiveness (how fast you can accomplish an exercise).

    Indeed, abs are a result of a low body percentage which indicates a lot of work to achieve it if you aren't genetically blessed to shed fat without a drop of sweat, but achieving this low body fat is actually simple: be in a caloric deficit a.k.a eat less than your suggested daily intake by about 100-200 calories so that your body would start to use it's fat stores as a source of energy.
