It is said that in order to gain some muscle through strength-training, one has to accept some degree of fat gain alongside (due to an increase in food calorific intake). I was wondering if there is an efficient method to gain muscle while losing fat simultaneously and if it's at all possible.

Scientifically speaking, it is impossible to build muscle and burn fat at the same time because these metabolic processes. Nonetheless, it is possible to build muscle while gaining the least amount of fat possible, it's called clean bulking: you go in a caloric surplus of just 200-300 cals. Your intake is to be divided between:
-Carbohydrates, which should make half of your intake.
    -For protein aim for 1g/Lb.
-And fats make up the rest of your intake.
Now, i would suggest you divide your year into cycles one being a bulking cycle and the other a cutting cycle. I bulk during fall and winter where no one will see my body then at the beginning of march i start cutting (being jn a deficit of 200-300 cals) so that i shed the fat i gained and get ripped for the summer.
