What do you think about Spotify?

I'm a premium user for quite a while now and very happy with it. Even with a special taste in music I'm able to find nearly everything my ears crave for. With 10 bucks a month it is very cheap and in addition to that you can sell all of your cds because you just don't need them anymore. Plus it is very nice to have access to your library wherever you are.

Sometimes I think about trying the other providers like Deezer but I'm not sure about it. And actually there is no real need for doing that.

I'm a premium Spotify use as well (although I do share it with my brother). I personally love Spotify as I'm a very big music listener. However the only thing that bothers me is how little the artist gets paid. For big artists such as Rihanna or Katy Perry it wouldn't matter too much but for slightly less well-known artists I can imagine it would be frustrating.

I have mixed feelings about Spotify. I do constantly listen to music through it and love it for the convenience of being able to listen to pretty much anything just by having my phone and an internet connection. After reading about several artists who complain that their millions of listens have earned them next to nothing I've started to wonder if it's doing any good for the music industry though.

I tend to buy the albums I really like as physical copies, and I think if you intend to keep on buying albums it's invaluable for finding new artists and trying them out. But knowing that a lot of people think they don't need t pay for music and don't even pay for Spotify I wonder how much artists are losing in sales that they would be making even without the exposure?

I really like using Spotify, but only on my tab and iPad, because when I'm use it on any smartphone, there are Ads and i really hate that. But in general it is a really nice music streaming service, it rarely gets stuck due to your internet connection, and the quality of the sound is just great.
I have tried the paid service to get rid of those Are, but I think it is not worth spending money on that. I am just fine with the regular service they offer.

Spotify Premium is one of the best things that's ever happened to me! I love how you can save any song to your library and play them in any order you'd like. I am also IN LOVE with the daily mixes and discover weekly playlists. I am downloading and listening to new songs and artists every week and sometimes everyday! The only thing I would change would be putting your music library in alphabetical order instead of the order you downloaded songs in.

I am a Spotify free user but I really love the app. I don't have money to spare on music that's why I'm not a premium user but I really like how I can easily search for the music I like and listen to it immediately without downloading it. The downside is the part where I need to have internet connection in order to use the app. It's very hard because I do not have mobile data and I could really use some music when I travel long distances from home to school and vice versa.

My favorite part about Spotify is the weekly discover playlist! I had Spotify free the whole time I was in college and I was fine with listening to my music on shuffle and the ads, mostly because I didn't have money to spare on Spotify Premium. I switched to Pandora Plus once I graduated college and had a job, but recently switched back to Spotify. Now that I'm in graduate school, I took advantage of a deal they were running that lets you get Spotify Premium and Hulu for a year for only $1 a month.
