One movie that I will never ever forget is The lovely Bones. That, in my opinion, is the best and saddest movie ever! I cried for hours even after the movie was over. I have at least watched it 20 times! It's juts so emotional.

I'll never forget the movies The Great Debaters and Primal Fear. It goes without saying that there are countless other movies I wouldn't forget but something about these two stood out.

Denzel Washington, Denzel Whitaker, Forest Whitaker, Jurnee Smollett and Nate Parker starred in the Great Debaters. It was a movie based on the lives of some college students at Wiley, a predominately black college. Denzel formed and coached the Wiley Debating Team taking them to compete all over the country. It was an all black debating team, something virtually unheard of at that time. They would eventually reach the finals and come up against the undefeated Havard Debaters. Against all odds, they won. Based on a true story this movie left me filled with all kinds of emotions.

Next there was Primal Fear, a 1996 thriller starring Richard Gere and Edward Norton. Richard, a hot shot lawyer, represented an accused altar boy played by Edward who was charged with the gruesome murder of a priest. Edward put down a stellar performance of a troubled young man with a split personality and earned the trust of Richard his lawyer. Richard pulled off an exciting win. Little did he know that the real performance was that of Edward who was in fact guilty, but convinced all he wasn't, with a first class 'act' of innocence. He was brilliant. I can still see Edward applauding when Richard learned way too late that he had freed a brutal murderer. Epic!

I could watch these two movies a hundred times and I wouldn't be bored. The Great Debaters could have been longer but Primal Fear was 'dead on' point with its timing.
