Just the other day Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni, spoke about oral copulation warning Ugandan citizens not to practice it on live television. I personally think this is a case of misplaced priorities, with so many problems facing the country such as floods, poverty, economic crisis, political instability, educatio related problems and medical related problems, choose to address what people should or should not be doing with their mouths. He left out so many unsolved issues and instead addressed such a trivial issue. One can't help it but just wonder why this is the case.

Heard of the news,I wasn't shocked by the message conveyed by Yoweri Museveni on national television.Museveni is a dictator, one characteristic of leaders who practice dictatorship is issuing of funny and baseless decree's, which have no significant impact on the economy.

Well, the citizens will never practice it on live television, that's for sure. :p

The president can say whatever he wants about it, but unless he installs monitoring devices in everyone's homes (and I hope he never reads this, in case he gets some "brilliant" ideas), or unless some troublemaker rats out on other people's personal lives, then he won't ever know. I think politicians have no business policing their citizens' personal choices, especially if these personal choices bring no harm to others. Politicians do this only to incite nervousness and fear in their constituents, and a fearful populace is easier to control. It also helps these politicians arrest their opponents on baseless accusations.

That is the most absurd thing Ive heard all week. Give advice about hygiene, preventing mosquito populations from growing, or any number of things. As OP mentioned, this is a strong case of misplaced priorities. I doubt that oral copulation is even on the Top 500 problems facing Uganda.
