Lately, I've been pondering on whether any of these two giant smartphone companies have actually improved at all or just paraded us into thinking they have developed. For me, I see a bit of improvement more in Samsung than in Apple, because there's always a new technology and design that comes with a new Samsung phone. For instance, the "Edge design" , wireless charging and improved camera.

For Apple, I believe it's the same all over again but with bigger structure and more security, which isn't really much upgrade to me. I'd like to know your views, as you like and comment on this post. Thanks

For my personal use I enjoy apple. Even though their software is very controlling and they don't change it much, I enjoy a simple and clean looking software which apple offers. I believe that samsung does has the better products and quality in their software. But it can be a bit much in the product while apple has simplicity.

That question though xD its so personal preference IMO, but what I can say is that in terms of hardware durability and performance iOS/Apple is much better and has more security and costumer help! In terms of software and what you can do, Android/Samsung is much better, you can download whatever you want, you have more apps, you dont need to jailbreak android to install certain apps and do certain things. And iOS devices are much more expensive, IMHO they take a bit advantage of their brand...

I personally would choose Samsung. Android is a much more open mobile platform than iOS. The new Galaxy S6 has great build quality, that in my opinion matches the iPhones. The S6's camera is also better than the iPhone. I would personally take a Samsung because of the openness of Android.

I know for me personally I always see something new come out with Apple. You can check out their homepage and they will tell you the new software coming out on the new phones. They may not be like the Samsung phones, but they are still always coming out with something new. If you think about it, no one would buy their phones if they weren't coming out with something new. You may be more of a Samsung guy, and that's why you don't see the improvements that Apple makes. I mean look at the newest phones they have, they are huge compared to the 5 and 5s. I believe that both companies are making improvements, even if they start out small.

I prefer Apple. With a few exceptions, there aren't many great-looking Samsung phones out there. The iPhone consistently has a better designs.
Apple were the first to have the original idea of a touch screen phone, and called it the iPhone. After copyrighting it, they were soon to be copied by Samsung. Also, Apple's technology is sleeker and more efficient than that of Samsung. The Macbook Air is trendy and smart, and Samsung can't compete with that. Apple has a much better screen and build and a better looking phone. Samsung is just too wide. About the Samsung screens, I felt low quality, Google Play was fiddly and there were so many bugs.

I absolutely love my IPhone 6 I had an Android phone and hated it. My service was tearrible and battery life was not the greatest. My IPhone was the best investment that I have purchased.

I think it's more of "Android vs Ios" type of question. Before talking about this point, I would like to say that both Samsung and Apple make very well built devices with nice designs.Moving to the main question, I think in my previous experience, Apple tends to focus on simplicity and easy of use. While Samsung which uses Android tends to focus on customiazion options and offering as much features as they can.In the end, it is up to you to choose which device you buy.Wether it's Apple or Samsung, you surely won't be disappointed.

Previously I used to be a fan of the Samsung's galaxy series (S, S advance, S2, S3 etc) but when Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 it created a lot of hype in the market as it was the first phone to come with the so called 'octa core Exynos chipset'. But when one of my friends purchased that phone, I was just surprised to see an octa core handset with so much problems such as multitasking glitches, shutter lag during picture clicks, calls disconnecting automatically after 30 seconds etc which was a pretty shame for an octa core handset. On the other hand, when I saw the IPhones 5s I just loved its performance I mean the UI is so smooth, the performance is great and multitasking is buttery smooth, the camera on the iPhone is the best I have seen till date and lastly such a high end performance comes from a dual core processor. So now I have changed my mind and I'm in love with Apple. :D

I love the design of every Samsung smartphones.Just the design!I hate Samsung for too many stock and useless apps.I had lived with S2 for three years and with S3 for another three years and i hate their UI for the huge lag and their short battery life. The multitasking not so good and the camera good enough. On the other hand when i ordered my first Iphone 4s(then 5) i loved it from the first second because of his performance I mean the camera so clear, the battery life is huge and quick charging and the UI so smooth. So i recommend Apple.

I do prefer Android Samsung and I updated it to Kitkat for faster and updated memory. I do like Samsung because of the less restrictions, though Apple phones are great for protection and apps are great. I love the Safari browser for Ipad. But now I am using Samsung not the latest model.

Ah... One of my favourite hot topics!
There’s only one place to begin when looking at Samsung’s new contender: design. Quite simply, Samsung has thrown almost every traditional design aspect of previous Galaxies away with the Galaxy S6 in an effort to create the same premium feel as the iPhone 6. The end result is both good and bad as well as being incredibly divisive.
While the latest move is a good one from Samsung, this proves yet again that Apple is always a step ahead in innovation. About the software, I think it's subjective, personally I prefer iOS. So as far as my opinion matters- Apple wins.

I would choose a samsung over an iPhone for a few reasons. First reason is that a samsung phone is a lot less expensive than an iPhone. The samsung costs less than an iPhone so you can save money and spend on different things. Another reason why is because the quality of samsung phones is better than an iPhone. The quality of a samsung such as better graphics, processing, RAM, screen and toughness are things that are not found in an iPhone which makes a samsung better. Lastly is that samsung has more features than an iPhone. The features such as storage, customizing, charging, weight, thinness, display, resolution, software and variety are why samsung has more features than an iPhone. These are some of the reasons why I would choose a samsung over an iPhone.

I have had both and for me it is the iPhone hands down. I hate that Google allows things like misbehaving apps which Apple does not allow. There are some apps that I just can't have on Android because of how badly they do misbehave but are never a problem on iOS. Also iOS battery life is so much better. Apple frequently updates iOS and is very quick to fix bugs in the OS when they do occur; Android not so much.

Another thing that also bugged me about Android is that not all apps will be compatible with your device, so you can't get all the apps that you want. This is not a problem with iOS as all the apps are compatible with your iDevice.

I understand that some people prefer Android, I am not one of them. I also hate Windows!

I would prefer Apple iPhones over Samsung Galaxy phones. To me Apple has a good phone software like the new iOS 9.Apple iPhones are awesome, I have the iPhone 6s, and it is amazing. The 3D Touch is a great use on the phone, and its camera has gotten a whole lot better. Now the Samsung Galaxy phone are good I'm not going to lie, but I feel like apple came up with everything first, then Samsung tried to copy Apple, I bet next Samsung going try to do a 3D Touch like Apple.

I have already used both of them, but I would rather Apple Iphone over Samsung for some reasons. First, I like how the IOS interface is clean and organized. It has also a good time response when you want to open some app. In constrast, the samsung has one of the worst interface (TouchWiz). It is slow and crash a lot. Second, the design of the iphone is the prettiest. They are sofisticated compare to the Samsung. Besides, all the Samsung phones has the same design, sometimes you cannot distinguish yours high-end from the others.

I choose Samsung because growing up I was a big fan of Nokia phones and the Android operating system is very similar to Nokia's Symbian. I tried using an iphone but found it too simple for my taste.
