We all know that GPU and RAM, helps in speeding up our computer.
So if we are asked to choose only one for upgrade ,which will you choose GPU or RAM.
just think about it, and comment.

This is an interesting question, yet it poses some questions for me actually. A heft upgrade to any part of your computer can be an amazing experience, but if you go too far, you may bottleneck, which can be detrimental to the performance of your PC. So considering that, how much RAM do we already have in this PC? Personally, I have 16GB in mine, and a GTX 1050Ti, so I am perfectly fine in the RAM department, once you hit 16 you've got just enough to do most things. But, my GPU could always use an upgrade, but then I look at my storage space, I've got a single TB of storage, and a 120GB SSD, both of those are in dire need of an upgrade.

Considering that, I think it is important to look at what you currently have in your computer, and consider that maybe neither of those things should be what you upgrade. Also, you need to consider the purpose for your computer, maybe you don't need a GPU at all. Very interesting question.

If you have too much of one and the other is lacking then it is bad for your pc. Generally if you are not playing any games having more ram is better then having a stronger gpu. This is because in most computer programs it takes alot more ram then it takes graphics. However if you play video games you will find that you need a stronger gpu to play most games. Like flanboy said it is best to have around 16 gb of DDR4 Ram as this allows you to do most stuff other then running high powered programs.

Overall you should have a balance. Find which one is lacking and upgrade that one. If you have one really powerful and the other really weak that could hamper and bottleneck the computer. If i was the one choosing i would probably upgrade ram as i use it more then i use my gpu. However it depends on your usage.

This would depends on how much RAM or how good your graphics card is. If you have too much RAM and a really bad graphics card or vice versa then your computer system might bottleneck. It would also depends on what you use your computer for. If you are going to use it for bench marking or playing games, then the graphics card would be more important. If you want to use your computer more for web surfing or multi-tasking, then you should consider upgrading your RAM since it uses a lot more RAM power.
