Would you rather be rich or healthy?

In my own opinion, being rich must be nice! Of course you can spend your wealth on the best food and fitness regimes which will in turn keep you health. Also, if you do get sick you can afford to pay for the best medical treatment. Though from my previous experience of being sick, I'd definitely rather have my health than lots of money I don't need.

 

I think I would rather be healthy, what's the point of having a lot of money if you are stuck in bed and can't enjoy it?
Plus if you are healthy you can easily find a job and make some money, enough to live a happy and satisfying life, something that even money can't buy!

 

I would rather be healthy. If you are wealthy and you don't have your health you would not enjoy your wealth. And how many times have you heard people say I would give away all my money to have good health. Money is not everything, people put to much stock in money. They feel that if they had enough money they would be happy.

But if you are not happy without money you will never be happy with it. And have you ever seen a U-Haul truck behind a funeral procession. No you can't take it with you.

 

I would rather be healthy as well. After all, i don't want to be rich at all I just need to have enough to live a simple life. Happiness can not be found in money, but in little things you get from life. I prefer having a family rather than having a billion dollars and being alone.

 

I would rather be healthy. I figure that if I am healthy enough, I will have enough time to earn money later. While if I'm rich but sick, I don't think I would be able to enjoy the fortune.

 

Health is Wealth, as have been said a thousand times over. But a sound mind makes a sound body. To have a sound mind is to be simply happy and contented. To be happy, one must understand that money and material wealth are just tools or a means to an end. I remember the movie In Pursuit of Happiness, The story tells how happiness achieve by Love, Kindness and human compassion.

 

Personally, I would much rather be healthy. I consider myself to be a humble person. There are far too many superficial people in this world. I prefer to enjoy life, rather than live my life trying to impress people who are greedy and self righteous. All I care about in life is having a roof over my head and enough to eat. The rest is just gravy on my meal.

 

You couldn't have summed it up better. People spoil their health by greedily indulging in inordinate money making. They only realize their futility after reaching the sick bed and how money could not save them. Life is precious and beautiful. You can only enjoy the pleasures of life if you stay healthy and cheerful. Besides, a healthy man alone can accumulate riches. A rich man, if sick would slowly lose all his wealth tending to his sickness.

Yes, I prefer to stay healthy than being rich and sick and without an iota of doubt.

 

What preoccupies my mind most of the time is my well-being be it physical, mental or social. I will do whatever it takes to be in a good state health for that is the only way i can enjoy life. Material things such as wealth are basically secondary to me and can always come later.

 

I would rather be healthy than wealthy. Wealth cannot buy health. Wealth is important in today's time but only if you are in a good state of health as then only you can enjoy it.

 

I have read during the time of World War I and the depression that health increased when the economy went down. Furthermore, people in less prosperous countries usually experience less of the sicknesses and diseases associated with the richer countries’ diets. Another rephrasing of this question would be would you rather live in America where death is caused by poor choices or a third world country.

I would rather be healthy and find a way to be satisfied with my conditions as opposed to be rich and unhealthy. However, just because you are around poor choices doesn’t mean you have to choose them.

 

I would definitely rather be healthy. If I am not healthy then I may not be around long enough to be wealthy and enjoy it. Look at it like this, healthy is a lifestyle that has a positive natural reinforcement in your life;however being wealthy may be good in it's own right yet very materialistic and can cause an unhealthy lifestyle.

 

I think being healthy trumps being reach most of the time. As most people would probably say, "What is the point of having so much money if you are sick and can't enjoy it?" Yes, being rich allows you to seek out and receive top notch medical care, but having a serious illness can bring you down mentally and physically. I think most people don't appreciate their health until they are diagnosed with something or have to receive ongoing medical attention.

 

Although wealth is quite nice, I believe I would much rather have perfect health than great wealth. What is having a large sum of money if you don't have your health to enjoy it. In fact, a lot of older people find themselves in this predicament. They have huge retirement savings, yet they are not able to enjoy their wealth because they have health issues that prevent them from either enjoying their money or being able to spend it freely.

 

I prefer being a healthy man over richness. Good health is better than all the riches of the earth. Without health, you cannot enjoy any wealth.
Many people are suffering with various ailments despite the fact they are rich. This means you will still die and never get to enjoy those riches despite acquiring them. It is better I die poor rather than suffering with riches. With good health, I can get all the riches in the world.
