I don’t know about you guys but there are a few songs out there that I can relate to, emotionally and. mentally. There are a few songs that pretty much sums up my whole life and I love listening to them. Sometimes, I’ll be all up in my feelings and I’ll just start tearing up. I feel like I’m connected to some of these songs/music. Makes me wonder if I’m the only one that’s like this.

Do you feel connected to music?

I definitely feel connected to music. After doing some research, I found that our bodies unconsciously connect to music. Music's rhythmic foundation relates to a few of our bodily functions: our heart beat, our breathing, and our brain waves. Hard-wired to distinguish music from noise, our brains and nervous systems respond to rhythm, repetition, tones, and tunes. Their vibrational energy moves through our bodies; and our cells respond to these frequencies in either a positive or negative way. Our bodies respond to the sounds and will entrain to certain frequencies. So we not only chime in and relate to the lyrics, but we also, both consciously and subconsciously, relate to the instrumentation and melodies.

I remember a post on Facebook "Music is life," and this is for real, we can't live without it since it has a several benefits and life will be boring without it. People have different approach and wide range of music taste when it comes to it that can determine your personality. I'm a music lover myself since I was a young boy and I really find myself relax whenever I listen into it. I learned how to play a guitar back when I was in my high school days and it also become my hobbies singing while I strumming it, it boosts my mode and old songs will remind you of the pass that is worth it remembering. I'm not sure if people would agree but I believe in the saying "Music can lift your soul."

I agree with you, it's a lot like the scene of Ghostbusters when they were playing music, and the plasma started responding. It's certainly a connection to how brain waves react.

Music is like a theme to life, if your lucky enough to experience sound at that level. At every turn, you can find a song or lyric that compliments something going on around us, direct or indirectly.

I think the main point is when you recognize it, and then can diagnose whether it's a good emotion. Or something in our lives that we need to work on.
