I had more than 10 phone in my life, some of them ended broken by me, some of them stolen, and some of them lost.

But nowadays I try to take care more of my phone, they are expensive and full of valuable and private information from me.

My last phone was an Oukitel K3, I liked the features and the price, strong and long battery was the best feature but the phone died after 18 months...

Now I have a Xiaomi Redmi 7, and at the moment is working well, but... What is the usually android lifetime for you? And iPhone?

Oh my! I also use a Xiaomi Redmi 7 at present.
My sister bought me my very first android back in 2014, a techno phone, and the phone is still working till today.

I use its hotspot feature and installed WhatsApp on it as well.
Although it's now a bit sluggish, I don't intend parting with that phone anytime soon.

Generally speaking, if you take good care of your phone, your phone will take good care of you.
My mum uses a small Nokia phone which she got back in 2011.
She has been using that phone for nine years now, and it's still working well.

Honestly I think that depends on how careful, diligent and the way you take care of your phone along side the brand or product you are using
