We often criticize, even despise somebody bringing up philosophy in everyday life. and it's quite understandable, the thing is, we end up discarding it altogether. For me philosophy is as important as math or language, it's necessary to see the big picture, the grand scheme of things.
    What about you?

I think philosophy is definitely important. It pushes us to question ourselves and the very fundamentals of society. A lot of people say this kind of thinking is pointless, but I disagree. Often times, thinking this way leads to a self-realization, or you see something through a different avenue. And isn't that what we need? Society must change, the ways of the world must change, and we must change. The only way to do that is to examine ourselves deeply. Try not to have an existential crisis while you're at it though.
