My friend and I have this argument about Mac vs Pc or rather Mac vs Linux. My main argument is that mac uses the same chips as most PCs internally, My second argument is that PC will always surpass Mac, for example, they both run on Intel processor, if Intel decided to release a new powerful CPU, a PC customer could easily upgrade, while a Mac customer will have to wait for the new Mac Pro.

Yes. It is true that they are the same internally. However, Mac, Windows, and Linux are all very different operating systems. For example, Windows is the goto for most people because it has the most support backing it. Mac also has a lot of support and is a lot more simplistic than Windows. Then there is Linux, my favorite one of all. Linux allows every user to tailor their operating system to their liking.

Also, PCs, Macs, and Linux machines don't necessarily have to run on Intel processors. AMD CPUs, the more cost-effective option, are generally speaking a lot better than their Intel counterpart.
