Yes there is... Technically there three entities, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, its kinda complicated to explain all of them, but basically there is a God almighty and divine, then there is Jesus who is his son with Mary, and was adopted by Joseph.
In Islam Jesus was also a prophet, however he was the son of an unknown man (out of marriage) and not divine at all...
For Jews was an excellent rabbi, however it was no Prophet, neither the son of God...

I hope this has been clarifying...

    Kind regards,

The doctrine in many churches saying that God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are one is false. The Nicene creed combined the three because they thought it would be better that way.

Proof that they are separate beings can easily be found in the account of Jesus’ baptism. He prayed to the Father while the Holy Ghost appeared in the form of a dove. They cannot be the same beings literally, but they are the same in spirit...meaning that they all have the same goal of helping us in mind.

Now the main differences between father and son are all physical actions. Jesus atoned for all of our sins, God sent Him to do that. Because Jesus is the son of God it is said that He can only do what He sees the father do. That is why He only does the Will of the Father and is the same in spirit.

    Hope this all makes sense!
