My number tip for money management is this. Do not choke your salary. Avoid the habit of spending more whenever you get a raise. Instead, you have to give your salary some breathing space and make some savings.
You will be surprised how easy it is to develop a habit of saving if you are committed and aiming at specific goals.
Have you ever been able to buy anything of value from your savings?

It's very true. I used to just spend everything I earn before. But now that I am a little bit wiser about my money, I feel joy whenever I look on my savings and investments growing up. Treating it like your baby can work wonders. Nurture it and give it time to grow. You will soon realize that if you just saved up earlier, you should have more by now.

Saving up should not burden someone as well. I have my own targets but I just go ahead and use an emergency fund in case that I really need more because I fell short due to unforeseen circumstances. That's the best way to keep your savings intact. Since life is full of uncertainties, we always have to be ready for anything emotionally and financially.

Agreed. The simplest way to save is to spend less than you earn! Dave Ramsey is also a great person to look to when you are struggling with money.

You should save money for future use. It's not good to be imprudent. Though, your responsibilities will determine how effectively you can save. If you have so much responsibilities with little income, I don't think you would be able to save really.

When I think about the times when I have been able to buy something of value from my savings, I figure out that I was only able to buy those things because I had set aside a money plan. If you set goals for yourself, it is easier to save. It's always easier to save money or achieve any goal if you write it down too.
