I feel like this is something that will vary greatly depending on people’s age and situation. I tend to sleep around 9-11 hours if I don’t have an alarm but it depends — some nights I can’t fall asleep for hours and end up sleeping less.

It depends on the kind and amount of activities I have done for a particular day. Sometimes I sleep over 10 hours a day if I don't have much anything to do in that particlar day. And sometimes as well I got to sleep for and 8 hours if I have more things to be done in that particular day.

Yes, it depends on age. I usually sleep 8-9 hours. I need it, because I can do my works on the best way after sleeping such amount of time. It has a positive effect for mental health.

I sleep an average of 8-9 hours a day. It is much more important at what time you sleep than how many hours.

I usually sleep around 7.5 hours, which isn't ideal, but at least I reach the minimum! I do stay in bed for eight hours, but I often find that I either can't sleep or wake up too early. Nonetheless, I usually get up pretty refreshed, which is the most important thing to me. I haven't been able to wake up any later than 9 am, so I always go to sleep relatively early to ensure that my body gets enough rest.

Normally I sleep 6 hours, but now I sleep more, because here is so hot and I don't want to get up. I feel lazy all the time. I hope soon I will be more productive.

Depends, I try at least 8 with the hopes of 10. Sleep is underrated and without you can develop mental and physical issues which most cannot be fixed. People like to brag about how little sleep they get, really they’re just killing themselves and making their lives shorter.

Depending on how hard I worked, I sleep for 6-8 hours per day. Every one just have to find a range that is comfortable for them; but without being lazy.

Wow, I almost feel bad for admitting this since it's going to be lowest up here. The typical amount I sleep for is about 5 hours although, to be fair, I do nap occasionally during the day so I'm not too bad. I do sleep a little longer once the school year begins when there's a need for routine. It just gets a lot harder to stay consistent and sleep for a sane amount of hours when there isn't much planned during the summer.

I usually sleep around 8 hours. I think that is the ideal sleep hours everyone should have. Being sleepless or sleeping for more time is not good. It affects your ability to work the following day. You will become lazy and also you cannot concentrate on what you are doing.

Also we should keep in mind the poem-
    Early to bed
    Early to rise
    Keep you
    Healthy
    Wealthy
    And wise.

Depends, if it's the weekdays, I sleep around 10 hours to feel fresh in the morning when I get ready for online classes. The weekends, however, are another story since I stay up late at night binge-watching Money Heist. I make up for the lost sleeping hours by not getting up till noon.:D:D:D

They definitely say that the average adult needs around 8 hours of sleep. I barely ever get that. I find myself awake till 3 am on the best of evenings. I would say around 4 to 5 hours per night.

I aim to sleep for at least 7 hours but prefer to get at least 8 or 9. I find that when I get less than this, I feel very irritated and have issues remembering things. However, I have mild sleep apnea, so I have to be more mindful of my sleep schedule than others.

Being a student that is still learning whilst staying at home (home-based learning), I have to get up around the same time as usual. This means that I probably have around 7-8 hours of sleep a night. Even when it's the weekend, my room gets really bright when the sun rises so I get up pretty early everyday.

There is no specific recommended amount of sleep that a person should get, and the recommendations are based on age demographics. I'm 20 years of age, so I'm in the adult bracket, meaning I need between 7-9 of rest following the SleepFoundation. It does, however, depend on person to person and their commitments too. Generally speaking, I sleep most nights for about 8 hours, and I'm a firm believer in keeping this consistent.

I am 21 years old and try to sleep at least 8 hours every night. The body is actually meant to have shorter sleep periods and more often throughout the day, but the western lifestyle is very demanding. I recommend taking naps throughout the day for optimal energy. 8 hours is not required to feel rested. Hope this helps!

My sleeping hours vary from one day to another depending on the activities I had in a day and my schedule for the next day but in most cases I make sure that I get at least 8 hours of sleep which is the recommended time. I feel like sleep is underrated in my opinion as its one of the healthiest thing that every human being should make a priority in their lives. Lack of enough sleep can lead to both physical and mental health issues. Without enough rest the body will consistently be tired and one will not their daily work in the best way possible.

As a teenager, my goal is always 8 hours of sleep each night. However, I’m always glued to my phone. I tend to stay up extremely late because of this. I’d say I fall asleep at 3 or 4 in the morning almost every night. This means that I actually get 4 hours of sleep or less because of how I early I have to wake up for school.

I’m very away that this is an extremely bad habit that I have to break, but I just have such a hard time falling asleep naturally. It certainly doesn’t help that social media and watching movies late at night are extremely comforting activities to engage in when I do not want to let my mind wander at night.

On average, I get at most 6 hours of sleep since I find myself doing schoolwork until 12:00AM, then I get up at 6:00AM to prepare for school. It is quite the decent amount of sleep, better than I had gotten regularly before, however I'm still working to improve it even more, especially over the summer, when I will be aiming to get at least 8 hours of sleep every night. I understand the importance of sleep and how important it is to my development and how I function in general, but school has definitely become more of an interference than I would like it to be. Still, I'm glad to be making it more of a priority for myself.

I generally not a morning person and i love my blanket, parting with it sometimes is a real struggle but if i have to get things done, then i have no choice but to let go. Anyway my average hours of sleep are 7-8 hours daily. Though i seem to be struggling to sleep at night i end up sleeping at 1am sometimes which is not good, because it gives me less sleep because i have to wake up early.
