    I have been into gaming for a long time now and I can say for sure that I know the features and quality of a good game perse, but in this case I think both games have an amazing spot in my heart, when looking for a game worth playing, you should be looking for these features;
    First: Graphics.
    Secondly: Gameplay.
    Third: control layout(Navigation)
And so on. But in this case I think both games have all the features mentioned above, It has been giving me a tough time finding out which of the two is better, so drop your comments please. Thank you.

Honestly, I love both games, but Fortnite is too mainstream for me. With Minecraft, you can play in a separate world by yourself while listening to the default music. But, Fortnite is way more fun to play with friends since you can compete against each other and other online players. Both games are extremely creative and well-developed, but I have to give it to Minecraft.

Personally, I find Minecraft so much more enjoyable. Perhaps it's due to childhood nostalgia, but I find the open world and non-linear play style more inviting to creativity, variation, and up to the player's interpretation of how they choose to play.

Admittedly, I have only played Fortnite a couple of times, so this is from a limited perspective, but it appears to me that Fortnite is, at core, just another multiplayer shooting game; however I believe they were the first to introduce or at least popularise the Battle Royale play style, so they deserve props for that.

In my opinion minecraft is much better than Fornite. Minecraft has more of a sandbox play style compared to that of Fortnite. I know Fortnite has a mode dedicated just to building stuff that can be played alone or with friends. But I don't believe that the building mode has an infinite world, animals, caves, exploration, different biomes, an end boss, hell, or enchanted stuff.

In my opinion Fortnite is too mainstream at the moment. This also happened to minecraft in around 2012 when a bunch of Youtubers played the game and this made a bunch of kids play it too. I am not saying that's bad, it definitely made minecraft more popular and made them more money. But this creates a lot of toxicity in the community, that's what's happening to Fortnite right now.

I am slightly biased in answering this question, given that I have only ever played Minecraft. I never really understood Fortnite and it seems too popular now, which tends to annoy me. I liked Minecraft because of its simplicity and it always made me feel relaxed when I played. I liked spending time building things.

Personally, I like Minecraft a lot more than Fortnite. I am an introvert who is not very good at competitive gaming, so I enjoy the peacefulness and creativity of Minecraft. Fortnite is okay, but I definitely have a preference for Minecraft. Fortnite has too many good players compared to me, and I tend to get discouraged when I lose a game.

I started playing Fortnite since a small time Youtuber recommended it. I played it twice and hated it. I decided it would NEVER take off. Fast forwards 2 months and it was one of the biggest games in the world. I still dislike Fortnite, but less so than before. Minecraft will always be #1 in my heart. Not only can you customize things like your skin, you can build houses or castles, make farms, fight bosses, and collect rare materials. I think that with every new patch, Minecraft is getting further and further ahead of Fortnite.

Minecraft, by a long shot. There is simply too much variety for Fortnite to compete against. You can build, explore, fight in both but only in Minecraft can you also; become part of the Justice League, swim under water, fly in the skies, get a pet wolf and do pretty much anything. The main advantage is clearly shown here, mods. Minecraft mods make the already enormous game even bigger. It's way too big for Fortnite to even compete with them and Minecraft also has the advantage of being able to both work offline and online.

In short, Minecraft is far too diverse and expansive for Fortnite to compete with.

I personally prefer Fortnite to Minecraft. I have played both games and just find more fun while playing Fortnite. Minecraft is a good game, but it doesn't contain the competitive aspect that I thrive for when I play video-games. My favorite part about playing video-games is the fact that I am in a competitive aspect, but Minecraft doesn't have that competitive aspect and the adrenaline rush that Fortnite does.
In conclusion, Fortnite is much more fun, because it is more competitive.

Exactly. Minecraft is significantly more open-ended. However, Minecraft is extremely mainstream as well. I opt for Minecraft because there is a wider variety of options for entertainment in-game.

I like both games, but I prefer Fortnite over Minecraft since I have a very competitive behaviour and that's what Fortnite's all about; competition! I can understand why Fortnite gets an enormous amount of hate because it's very challenging. Most people get frustrated at their constant deaths by sweats that they think the game is bad instead of just trying to get good at it. Fortnite isn't for everyone so if you can't bear with sweats, Minecraft is the game for you.

I think that both are great games in their own unique ways. Fortnite has a very interesting playstyle, and while I don't personally quite enjoy playing it anymore, I can see why so many people enjoy it. In the same way, Minecraft also appeals to the more creative that don't care so much about competitiveness and instead work more for co-op and exploration.

I like Minecraft over Fortnight due to the sheer versatility that the mod packs add to the game. Mod packs such as FTB and RL Craft help to change the game in ways that can make the entire game feel completely different allowing you to not get bored as quickly.

This is not a good comparison because you took two games out of two very different genres. Fortnite is a Battle Royale game and Minecraft is more of a survival chill kind of game. Both of them can be played by one person, but it just depends on what you want to play. In the vote on top of the page I chose both because I had played them before and I liked both. If can't really say Minecraft is better than Fortnite or vice versa. It just depends upon what you want to play a BR game or a chill survival game.

I have played both games (not much of fortnite) and i think fortnite is not entertaining for me. I know its a HUGE game and very popular but it just too 'swip swap' and its very ununique and plain but minecraft has many explorable content other than just cosmetics. As well as a MASSIVE library of mods if u play on pc.

I completely agree with that. I would add like a bit more to it though. First of all, Minecraft has great variety, from mods to multiplayer minigames and even single player is enjoyable. You could start up a world and have hours of fun. When that gets boring, you could easily switch it up a bit by adding a few mods or even modpacks which completely renovates the game. The multiplayer in this game has it's own flavor, where there are thousands of community run servers ranging from factions, minigames, skyblock, roleplaying, adventure, survival and so on.

On the other hand, even though fortnite is quite an enjoyable game, with many things separating it from your average shooter game, but at the end of the day it's still just a shooter. You would probably have tons of fun in the game, especially, if you are a competitive player. That being said, I still think the number of hours you could invest in this game can't compare to minecraft.
