I like FPS games because not only are they fun, but they improve important qualities in a person. Such qualities include reaction time and eyesight. Aside from that, they are very addicting. I have recently taken interest in games such as PUBG and Fortnite because of the graphics and the battle royale aspect.

Can anyone recommend any other FPS games? I've been stuck using only two because of the complexity.

I honestly can't choose between platform and open-world action games. Platform I've always loved mostly because each level presents a harder challenge, which is what makes it more fun as the game goes on. I like open-world action games because it's nice exploring all the things that were put into the game, and if it's open-world, then you know they put a lot of stuff into it. Those kinds of games also tend to have a plot and decently developed characters. I'm a sucker for plot and character.

I enjoy playing Platformers such as Mario 64, Mario Sunshine, etc. I enjoy this genre of game because I like to be able to explore various levels, while also having an end goal. The end goal for example in Mario Sunshine is to collect a Shine Sprite in each level. I enjoy having different goals and missions, since even though it is the same world, there are many different ways to go and explore while playing. The level design can be very well structured, allowing even more freedom to explore while playing.

I agree. I play a lot of FPS with my friends but I mainly play MMORPG (have you heard of Black Desert Online?). I think that it is really cool you can create who you want to be, and create your own role. I really want there to be a new (good) RPG. I think the best part of MMORPG is at the beginning when everyone is vying for power as well.

I like all types of genres but the main defining factor for me would be if it is offline or online. I'd almost always go offline mainly because I've got things to do and having either a bunch of children or egotistical adults blabbering, wasting time, trolling or just being toxic in general.

It's like all the salt and entitlement have been condensed into one huge entity of rage and incompetence. It is a really toxic environment to be in. So obviously I'd have to go offline for real fun.
