After watching movies for twenty of my twenty five years, somehow I prefer movies based on true events rather than fiction. knowing that what I watch is true usually encourages me to deal with the real world, I always tell myself after watching a fiction 'ahh well, that can never happen to me or anyone' and I'll regret wasting a hour and a half . So what do you prefer?

I love movies based on true events, however I respect movies that are fictional. Why, you may ask? As a writer fictional drama enhances my imaginative side and also helps me create my own imaginations. In other words, I respect something that is made from nothing and creates room for possibilities more, compared to editing real life events.

I love both, just in different ways. Fiction opens the door to any possible outcome. But knowing that something actually happened makes it much more amazing to me. The only thing I hate is something presented as non-fiction but where the author has stretched the truth.

Well me personally ill have to say fiction only because I love super hero movies, but movies do tell you things that are really happening as in the way the gov is planning. Like movies show things that aren't even out yet for us to purchase but still been had it out just not on the market, fiction movies to me aren't that fiction anymore when you look at the story line, typically a fiction hero movie would start off with the main character as normal, living a normal life then a accident of some sort happens; basically what I am saying is its 2015 anything is possible as far as a movie.

My choice is fiction. My opinion is, if I want to know the truth, I could read newspaper or wikipedia. I watch movies for entertaining, sometimes for relaxing and educational knowledge. For that, I watch fiction. Moreover, in fiction we find many new things like invention, innovation, creativity etc.

I prefer fiction, but there are something more I want to tell you....

True events based movies always catch more attention. For example, I am suggesting two crocodile movies to my friends. One is fiction and one is true events based. Of course we all want to know how crocodiles hunt and attack human in the real life. My friends would take the latter if they had only one choice.

However, for a movie to be super thrilling, real life events can't beat fiction ideas.

I like fiction. I try to avoid movies that deal with too many real life events. I deal with real life everyday and it's depressing enough as it is. If I'm going to spend an hour watching a movie I would rather watch one that makes me feel good instead of one that's going to leave me crying because the main character dies.
