Basically, romcoms are the only movies I love to watch. Not that I don't watch other movie genres, it's just that romcom is something I would prefer over all the others. I'm such a big fan of them that I've watched each and every romcom, including the underrated. Name a romcom and I can promise you I would've watched it before(if it came out after 1990).

From my experience, I don't think that romcoms make you a hopeless romantic. There are many, many perspectives that any romcom covers and I guess it just gives you better opinion towards various situations you might face in your life too. They might also make some of your life's crossroads easier to handle and that's how I see a romcom changing your life and not just making you a hopeless romantic:).

Ohhhh yesss!! I definitely agree with you. I love romcoms, that’s basically all I watch these days. However, I particularly like Korean ones owing to the fact that I haven’t really tried any others.

What about you? Do you prefer a certain type ?

No, there's no certain type I prefer. I can watch any romcom at any time of the day. Romance is my most favourite genre. It depends on my mood whether I want to watch it with comedy combined or maybe drama with romance.

I've watched lots and lots of romcoms but I never get bored of them and that surprises me. I think you should definitely see some romcoms other than Korean ones as well. Trust me, they're awesome. Some of my favourite romcoms include 27 Dresses, The Proposal, While You Were Sleeping and Never Been Kissed. What are some of yours?

I particularly like Cinderella And The Four Knights, My Love From The Stars and Strong Girl Bong-Soon. I’ve already watched so many that I don’t remember them all. However, there is a prominent thing that I am always looking for in shows before I start watching them, and that is to have a female protagonist with a strong personality.

In many Korean Romance shows, the female protagonist is weak and always needs help and protection. I don’t like that at all as it makes us girls look pathetic. Honestly, I find that type of shows a bit boring and I seem to not be able to watch more than one episode.

You have a strong perspective. I like watching shows with a strong female protagonist too. Those kinds of shows inspire me to be better and I guess that's what makes them worth watching.

In my honest opinion, it depends on the romcom and how it makes you feel.

I used to be so repulsed by romcoms but now I enjoy them. I just broke up with my boyfriend a couple of days ago so I can't watch any right now or I will just cry. But normally I think they are perfect because who doesn't love comedy with a romantic plot. They normally are just feel-good movies and aren't too sad which is what I like.
