Do you guys like working out by yourself or with a partner?

I personally like both, working by myself and with a partner. It has the best of both worlds. For example, working with a partner lets me lift heavier knowing that I have a spotter to make sure i'm safe. Also, it gives me that competitive edge, who can lift more?

Working out by myself also have a few perks, for example, I can workout whenever I want and go at my leisure. I don't have to depend on anyone nor do I have decide which body part to workout.

I like working out by myself. There is no one that I met that can push me to go harder and deeper than myself and I feel like if I have a partner they would just slow me down. I transform into an insane animal when I workout and just want what is best for my body. When I go to the gym, I do not need a spotter to help me with my weights, I can handle the weight on my own and I lift high, low weights are only there for the warm-up. When I am out of the gym, I also do not like any partners to be beside me. I jog at my own pace, ride my bike at my own pace, and choose which stretches to do by myself when I am finished my workout.

I prefer working out with a trainer or partner. Whenever I have a trainer/partner I am encouraged to push more, especially when I reach that point of quitting. From my experience, your brain usually fail you under pressure by telling you that you can't go on when you are actually still full of energy and can push some more. When I train alone and my brain says quit, I quit, but with a trainer he commands me to go harder making my workout complete.

I prefer to workout alone. I tend to get competitive if I go with a partner which would just lead to fatigue faster and I wouldn't be able to do everything I intended to do. I also find that not everyone likes to workout the same way I do. For example; I prefer running outside to running on a treadmill, however most of my friends prefer running on a treadmill at the gym.

I prefer to workout alone but I also like to walk and meditate at the same time so it would be hard to do that with a partner. I find my walks to be the best time of day and a ritual I have to do to feel centered and happy.

Walking literally saved my life. I went from 185lbs to 125lbs by simply walking 5 miles per day for 4 months and I have been able to drop not only dress sizes but medical costs.

I don't have anyone to workout with, so it's always just me alone. That's how it has been for years now, so I am pretty used to it.

I have thought about signing up for a class, though, and try out being in a group. I think it may be fun!
