My favorite console is Xbox. I like Playstation and Nintendo consoles as well, but I've always preferred Xbox. My favorite game on Xbox is the original Subnautica. My dad bought me the game for my birthday one year, and I had so much fun playing it that I have over three days on one save! I like the game because there is a huge map to explore and some really cool alien creatures and biomes.

    What about you?

My favorite console is the PS4. My favorite game on there is probably Red Dead Redemption 2 because it's such a beautiful game, and for me personally, the attachment to the main character.

Although I love all consoles, I have to choose the Nintendo 3DS. My favourite game on the system has to be The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. The game looks wonderful. It has a fun and engaging story while giving me nostalgia from when I first play A Link to the Past in my early years. I also enjoy the soundtrack and my favourite song of the soundtrack is towards the end when you are traversing through Lorule Castle. It is such an epic theme for this dark and gloomy castle.

    Here's the Lorule Castle theme:

My favorite console would have to be the Nintendo GameCube, since there are many games on it that I personally consider to be classics such as Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, The Legend of Zelda The Windwaker, etc. The graphic quality was very impressive for the time as well. The design of the GameCube also makes it favorable, such as the console itself, which is shaped like a cube. The controllers are also impressive, with a design that allows players to have an easy grip on the controller. The button placement on the controller also makes it easy to press anything while playing. These design choices help me feel more comfortable while playing games.

I like PlayStation 2 and 3. The game Tekken I liked a lot. With Yoshimitsu with it's sword spinning.
Yes he was my favourite of them all. And of course Street Fighter yep, and Mortal Combat my favourite.

The good old days nights and weekends almost a forgotten era.
Still nowadays I don't play that many games anymore.

My youth and late teens were nice. Late 20's I did not play anymore. As much anyways as in the early teen years.
    Right.

I'm a Playstation gal personally; I have owned all four generations, and I know for certain I still have my PS2, PS3 and PS4 (the latter two are plugged in to my gaming setup, PS2 is stored.) The PS1 MAY be packed away somewhere at my parents' house. When I was younger, I had always played with my dad's NES. (Ducktales was a favorite.) In 1998, eight year old me saw a demo in Best Buy for a game called Crash Bandicoot: Warped. I played it for a bit... and knew I needed it. And that Christmas, I received my PS1, along with Crash Bandicoot 3 and Spyro the Dragon.

    And thus I was hooked.

Crash and Spyro have been favorites; their original trilogies and the remasters, and most of the spin-offs are in my collection. I never picked up the attempts at rebooting their franchises just for lack of money at the time, but reactions/reviews told me this was probably a good thing. I suppose I'll get to them one day just for completionist's sake.

Jak & Daxter is another Playstation exclusive pair that I've enjoyed. Have fond memories of playing the original with my dad.

Metal Gear Solid was another I played with my dad. (We also played Syphon Filter, but I vastly preferred MGS.)

The Batman Arkham series is a masterpiece, and is perhaps my favorite rendition of Batman canon ever. The animated series voices, all the best bits of storytelling from the various comics & films & shows, thrown into a gritty Gotham with some fantastic gameplay. Seriously, the only bad thing about this series is the Batmobile in Knight! (I'm so bad at driving in video games. So bad...)

And finally, Fallout. I have perhaps sunk more time into the Fallout franchise than any other game(s) I've played. I've met some of my best friends (and my ex) through Fallout. I love the story and atmosphere of the series. I love the gameplay. Despite the criticism it gets online (usually by people who have never played) Fallout 76 is my favorite, and the one I play nearly every afternoon. I have a great group of friends I connect with on there, and we run quests and events together and have a grand old time.

Looking back over this list, I'd say Playstation won me over with its exclusives in the long run!
(Most of these have come to other ports eventually, but at first release they were exclusive.)

My favorite console is the PlayStation 3 with my favorite game being Army Of Two: The Devil's Cartel. I am a great fan of role playing games (especially Pokemon games) alongside the Nintendo system but I particularly prefer the PlayStation's system of play with PlayStation 3 being my favorite of the PlayStation brand. I also particularly enjoy the Xbox system with its amazing graphics and game play.

My favorite console is the Xbox One. I like it more than the others because of the ergonomic design of its controller. While the PlayStation and Nintendo controllers are bulky and uncomfortable, Microsoft's controller allows for a secure grip and enjoyable usage.

My favorite game is FIFA 20 because I am a huge football fan. The graphics on the game are extremely realistic and the official licensing makes you feel as if you are really inside the stadium. However, EA Sports haven't made many improvements to the game in recent years. Unless the developers increase the quality of the gameplay, I may switch from FIFA to Pro Evolution Soccer.

I definitely prefer the PlayStation though as you said all consoles are great but the PlayStation just stands out for mainly because of the exclusives they offer. I've been a God of War Fan since from the 1st franchise on ps2 which brings very good memories

Lot of Playstation players here! As you said, all consoles are great, but my favorite has to be the Xbox 360. Opened up worlds for me and my friends, we would spend hours constantly playing fun, cartoony multiplayer games. A few gems include Speedrunners, Zombie Estate, and Stick Fight. I do have to give the Wii some credit though, that thing provided hours of interactive fun and a workout too!

Prior to March this year, I would have named the Nintendo 3DS, and Pokemon Soul Silver as my favourite console and game. However that was before I discovered Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I can't believe I have never played an Animal Crossing game before.

The Switch is an awesome console, but the faulty left-hand joy-con drift has left me unable to game while I await Nintendo's repair team. Hopefully it comes back soon!

Absolutely the GameCube. It holds up quite well, both from a game standpoint, as well as the durability of the hardware. Only thing is that you left out my favorite game on the console, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem! A game I still haven't managed to beat fully, although I have completed multiple, multiple playthroughs. This was one of the early sanity meter games, I believe, and it truly messes with you.

Even though new consoles are released this days, my favorite console would be the Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP and my favorite game would be Pokemon Ruby version. This game I always keep repeating over and over again because for me nothing could beat the content of past games nevertheless of its quality. I'm just sad to say the Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP console stayed in the past and I could not play multiplayer mode anymore. People these days prefer quality but for me it would be content. That console made me really happy during my childhood until now.

I personally prefer Xbox starting at the 360, but comparing the ps2 to the OG Xbox, I'd choose the PS2. Recently I have gotten the Xbox Series X, and I must say, the best game I have ever played is a tie between two phenomenal games. The two games that I love so much are Metro Exodus and Titanfall 2. The worldbuilding and story for metro are phenomenal, and I have enjoyed it every step of the way, while with TF2, it has the overall best campaign I've ever played. The story is great and the mechanics are even better. I am so happy to have been able to experience these two games
