For current students, have your grades improved or worsened in the pandemic/ shift to online schooling? Mine have improved in some ways and worsened in others, and I'm curious about others.

They've stayed the same, for the most part. There was a brief portion where they dropped slightly because of all the stress but I managed to push through thankfully. I think some people have had them improve since the workload may have dropped and it's been easier to catch up, while others are struggling to complete their work on their own. What has it been like for you, Allison?

For me, we transitioned to online school and used platforms like Canvas and Google Classroom. Our district made us have a schedule where each weekday was a class period from 10AM-11AM. This was easy to handle and keep up with since we only had 2-3 months left of school.

My grades improved because some of my teachers were lenient on grading. My teachers gave homework every Monday so I was kinda overloaded with work. It was stressful when finals came around because I felt like I couldn't get the best out of the material I was supposed to learn this year. It was easy to keep my grades up, though.

Some of my friends couldn't keep their grades up because they had technical difficulties or couldn't find the motivation to do their work. I had the same issue but I ended up getting most of my work done. Sometimes, their teachers wouldn't grade their stuff or never got to so their grades suffered.

For me, my grades have improved since physical classes shifted to online classes. This is because projects were the basis of grades instead of the usual exams. My grades have improved but I believe I learned less during this time. I had less motivation in studying when I was just reading out the powerpoints my professors gave me. As a result, I didn't retain so much in the topics that I had to master.
