How to start online teaching?

I recently received my TEFL certification for English teaching. I was interested in teaching online (due to all of this free time I now forcefully have). I was wondering how other people got into online teaching, or specifically English teaching?

 

Hey Alex, I know I'm a little late, but there's plenty of virtual and remote online teaching jobs that are looking for English teachers currently. The fact that you have a certificate gives you a higher advantage of getting accepted for one as well, which is a bonus! Before you start looking for jobs, make sure you have Internet connection that's properly running and is relatively stable. Have a working microphone, webcam, and a clean, quiet area where you can teach in peace.

Once you have the proper set-up, start browsing some job boards or tutoring job pages that list different teaching positions. Some of these may be advertised by businesses, while others might be just by an individual who really want to learn. Are you hoping to teach a class or teach privately one-on-one?
