I really think the lock down due to the Coronavirus pandemic has been quite tough. Most schools are not yet re-opened and it is a bit terrifying. But, there are many ways to make yourself busy with school work despite the pandemic ravaging the world.
In this write up, I will be talking about Khan Academy, the online website that helps you study and prepare for any type of exam like SAT, ACT or AP exams but its basically for high schoolers.
Reading, answering questions, preparatory tests, watching videos on diverse topics in different courses are all part of the fun ride in Khan Academy. And guess what? You get to pick your courses. I can say that I've learnt much about Computer Programming from Khan Academy and you could also do that too. All you have to do is simply to sign up at their website (www.khanacademy.org). Be sure to check it out. Even the adults out of high school could sign up. It is fun!

I am currently in my summer class which we have been doing online. Yes it is true, surviving this pandemic as a student with responsibilities is tough. One of my subjects involves playing basket ball, but since due to pandemic we have been task to make a video toturial of the proper execution of handling and drebbling the ball. One way of connecting to the class is through zoom app, but we only have 40 minutes to discuss through this app. One of the common problems we are facing now is our internet connection. Once our connection is poor, we are automatically disconnected from the zoom app and it takes a while to reconnect. Another problem is our budget of buying surf promos since internet is not free in our country. The poor connection and the high price of surf promos are one of the problems of the students taking online class.

You are doing a great job! Many students neglect to study, many students during the distance learning can not concentrate on the study. I agree with you guys because it is tough indeed. You always should balance your home responsibilities and your study responsibilities. As a student, you can cheat during the online tests and quizzes, but cheating eventually leads to feeling exhausted. I can not fully understand the topic during short online lessons. There is no enough time for asking complex questions. As a result, many students have myriads of gaps in their knowledge.

This lockdown has been rough for me. When covid first started I had to switch to online school. I have been online school for over a year now. I will continue online school next year I don't feel safe going back to school. Online school is a little easier for me anyway I get to go at my own pace and I don't have to rush to get my work done. I also have more time to study.

Because of the terrifying virus which is named as COVID-19. I as a student was really terrified and careful in doing my task in school. It's really hard to survive and study at the same time, because of two reasons. First, the cost (laptops, cellphone, printer and other gadgets that I use to help me survive online class), some gadgets are really expensive and also hard to find, especially during lock down when we could not and should not wander outside since the virus is very active. Lastly, communication or socialization. We all know that learning should be done while communicating to others like your professors and classmates since knowledge is much more effective if it was came from others who have more knowledge about this. But, because of lock down, things became more complicated, like I sometimes can't contact others since they do not have gadgets or connections to used, and if they do, I always get the answers late.

That's why, it is very saddening that we are really not ready for this kind of crisis. I hope in the future, if and only if this happen again, we are ready to face it without fear.

I graduated right when Covid took over the world. I watched everyone else worry about online classes and missing out on having a proper college experience. Half of the students were like "we just want everything online. It would be much easier". The other half was saying "I learn better by physically being in a classroom rather than just in my room". Online classes meant being socially isolated and not having proper access to any resources that would otherwise be available.
