I think education has more influence than experience but experience is more viable and useful than education... though it depends on branch of education you have experience on!

In my country, the USA, I think that education is still king in spite of ongoing proof that experience truly should be a more highly considered factor.

The current issue is, what are the structures in which we can measure experience? Our current educational system has managed to break down a person's eligibility based on what "level" of education they have achieved: high school diploma, BA, MA, Ph. D? Trade school? All of these are representations of different levels of achievement to be sure. The problem now is that, with the cost of a higher education, the jobs that require these levels of education are being privatized.

In the area of experience, I think we could all agree that overall, experience in an area is truly what is going to make an employee most effective at their work. But how do you get into the position to generate that experience? Most of the time it is either done in an apprentice circumstance, like the trades, or it is done through the internship mentality-which is basically an unpaid form of an apprenticeship.

Overall, I would say that a hard look needs to be taken at our system to decrease privatization of job opportunities and look into adopting the apprentice mentality with new employees, regardless of their education.

We spend ~15 years with education. I really think that education would have a bigger influence on us than experience. Of course experiencing something on your own would be a good lesson but you won't stay ~15 years experiencing things so they influence you. Let's take an example, what if you would not attend education but try to experience everything trying to learn lessons? That would put you down in the end.

Science is the only way to get the news because science provides people with the data they need to gain more and faster experience. Without science, you will work too much to get enough experience. Without the experience, there will be no use of science but knowledge.

Education is better than experience. For you to be offered a job, you have to present academic credentials first before they ask you about experience. In fact, sometimes you gain experience when you are still in school through field/industrial/school/clinical attachments and internships. An experienced person, without education, can not be hired, but an educated person, without any experience, can be hired.
